Dear friend,I couldn't agree more with you here.Real "majesty of Nicholas Spanos's rending."It's a pity that it's only an amateur recording.We need a good studio one. Yes, listening to this live would be just magical! I can assure you that hearing Spanos live is an unforgettable experience.There's nothing like live caressing sound.It's sung with such ease and Spanos's exquisite signiture coloratura.Listen to this magic on e.g. around 3.42, 3.49 and 4.06-4.08 which only Spanos can do! Bravissimo!

Thank you for such appreciation. I agree with you. Through I haven't even tried to sing this very difficult aria:-) I can tell that it takes only an extraordinary talent to make it sound that smooth and effortless with such great technique that gives the artist freedom of expressing his true emotions and not struggling with all the passages here. This is a very special aria, and yes, it can't be too pathetic and weak.This rendition is fantastic! Please also enjoy Nicholas Spanos's coloratura!:-)

Well, I think that angels can really be envious of Nikos's Spanos divine voice with an angelic timbre!:-) I use "angelic" in the meaning of purity, goodness and kindness that people usually ascribe to angels. But as I imagine angels they are immature with wings:-) I prefer mature men without wings:-)

What can I say...Caro, yes, like a rebirth, blessing and all the rest you mentioned here. I would only argue with you on one point. I think that God was very serious when he created Nicholas Spanos as he must have thought hard whom to choose for his special gift, and he , of course, made the best choice possible!:-). I would quote another Spanos's fan, my Russian friend SuperNvt who wrote that "when Nicholas Spanos was born God kissed him on the forehead":-)

Dear Pierre, of course this rendition is simply divine! But are you sure it's the right piece to sing in any language for a WEDDING? Doesn't matter if it's sung by a woman or a man - "Lascia ch'io pianga mia cruda sorte..." If they both feel so mirable and think that it's their cruel fate, crying over it, why do they want to marry then?:-) It's Canada where arranged marriages without love isn't a common practice, even in French:-)...Maybe something more optimistic for it like Ombra mai fu?:-)
