Listened to it again. Just pure magic! Only Nicholas Spanos can give us so much true beauty and true love without any vocal tricks! The best interpretation I've ever heard when an artist really shares his soul, kindness, goodness. It's possible to find a better orchestra but there are only very few artists who can share all themselves with their audiences and not just entertain them. It's the highest art. Those who have ears will hear it... Thank you Nicholas Spanos for your sincere art!

Yana- The warmth and gentleness of Nicholas' unique voice is absolutely superb in this video and all of his others. A truly fantastic and perfect live performance! The instrumentalists are each outstanding in their own right. A perfect blend with themselves and with Nicholas with so much drama with the speeding up and slowing down of the tempo for additional expressiveness. True heavenly joy as I listen!

Exactly 2 years ago this day (29th) I heard for the first time Nicholas Spanos's voice in this aria Sol da te and couldn't forget this voice anymore! Thanks Plavos for sharing it with me and letting me discover this stunning artist to whom I'll always be grateful for bringing such BEAUTY into my life! Though the orchestra here is not perfect, but the interpretation is the BEST,PUREST! I heard it at his recital in a piano version which is another gem because of Zafranas's wonderful play!Thank you

I mean it.The purest,most sublime and heavenly interpretation of this love aria, expessing real love,tenderness,goodness and purity,sheer beauty with such an unbelievably beautiful colour of the voice without any superficial vocal tricks!Spanos's singing is heaven on Earth!We are so lucky to know him and enjoy his great artistry while he is young and in his best voice!The only flaw here is the orchestra that doesn't play it smooth enough, somewhat hurried.But nothing can spoil Spanos's magic!:-)

Actually, I have many favourites but I remember only the exact date when I heard Nicholas Spanos's voice. It somehow clicked in my memory as I discovered him on YT first and then heard him live and it was also the first time when I got to this plavos's channel:-)

Two best versions of this wonderful aria are Spanos's and Cencic's. Very different and both are just great! Spanos's is more lyric and tender with an angelic timbre, unique colour, spell bindingly beautiful! Most original embellishment!!!

Dear George, thank you too. Yes, you are right: it's early Spanos. I can assure you he sings even better now, and especially LIVE this divine by itself aria is just a piece of heaven in his true soaring countertenor voice! If this recording is fantastic you can only imagine how much better it sounds in Spanos's rendition live! And he is becoming better and better, singing with such great breath control, absolutely effortless and with power! I flew away to a better world listening to him live!:-)
