The scene with the humans falling off the cliff in their panic but still trying to save the baby despite the hopelessness of the situation got me bawling. No matter how harsh reality is, the desire of the current generation to do whatever it can for the next to live a better one, is the meaning of life.
@ShinyaKougami Жыл бұрын
It's funny because, along with all the other spoilers it has, the ending 3 (from S2 of AoT) has this hint too if you look carefully, about the baby being saved by a person.
@fabcraft2438 Жыл бұрын
can you tell me the time stamp of when the baby is being saved by a person. thank you@@ShinyaKougami
@ShinyaKougami Жыл бұрын
@@fabcraft2438 If you are referring to the ending 3 (season 2), idk what video you are going to watch on YT (a little diff in the lenghts of each one of them, i think), but the one i'm seeing is between 0:44 to 0:47, where ppl are trapped in what it seems to be a building/cage, kinda, i'm awful at describing things. But they are trying to run away and the person who is the closest to the bars in the window is the one saving the baby.

What’s special about Aot is that, when you rewatch the anime it gets better. You see SO many hidden details and when you know just how connected everything is, it’s just incredible.

Heard someone say recently, you can rewatch the entire show after every season and you will find something new every time. And they are right. I just watched a reaction to the Mikasa backstory episode from season 1 and it brought me to tears after watching the finale.

I’ve watched AOT since it first came out in 2013. I was 8 years old. Now I’m 19 and in college. I was a avid manga reader so it ended for me in 2021. But the final episode being aired hit way harder. AOT has been my entire childhood. More than half my life. I will forever be grateful for the years AOT has given me. I met my bestfriend bc of AOT in middle school. I met Isayama last year at the anime convention in my city. AOT will always be number one for me.

The fact that this show was able to represent human condition and the never ending cycle of war so damn well, in times where the world could go to shit at any moment, is nothing short of beautiful yet devastatingly tragic... and I'm happy i was here for the last 9 years to see it.
@YashamaruSensei Жыл бұрын
i was there from the start 2013, i was in middle school and i watched it with a friend in class, in that period of my life he was my best friend. Obviously life goes on, 10 years have passed, we went to different high school, moved to different countries, we spoke with each other less and less as the years went by, everyone's life is going their own way, right ? it's okay ... the morning after the last episode dropped, he messages me "did you watch it ?" 🥲 we gonna meet next weekend to catch up. So not only for the awesome journey and experience, but for tying our friendship together, thank you Isayama-sensei

The ending isn’t hopeless. If anything, this show has always argued that, even in the most hopeless situations, we must continue to push forward and advocate for the things we believe in, whether that be peace or war.

my aot ‘journey’ is an odd one… I watched S1 in 2013 at 15 yrs old, obsessed with it for awhile then forgot about anime and aot. In 2021 covid I watched more animes and came across aot videos, made me realize I’m so behind, curious how the story’s going, so I googled and read a super detailed writing explaining the whole plot and characters from past to present. spoiled myself everything, but it was so intriguing to read, it took an afternoon. Then I watched S2+3, cried a lot, and waited for weekly S4P1, meanwhile read the manga from S4 to the end. It’s so intense to experience this much condensed greatness at once, I couldn’t stop thinking about aot for a month and a half, read lots of related writings, then finally moved on 😂

attack on titan was my intro to anime, in 2013, back when the first couple episodes were here on youtube and now that we're at the end it will forever be my top show of all time, i remember the wait...from season 1 to 2 to where i wanted more and looked into the manga, but when a manga can be good but seeing the anime do it better from both wit and mappa animation or hiroyuki sawano/kohta yamamoto osts.. or even all those damn voice actors giving their hearts to this show i have multiple friends sitting on the first half of season 3, not liking it too much but i KEEP TELLING THEM.. wait till the second half i only hope anyone who picks this up in the future to follow through to the end because oh my god this story, with everything they put us through attack on titan is a perfect anime death note/code geass is great for story, FMA is the top rated but AOT??? for this anime to do the same thing over 10 years is amazing i cannot wait to watch from the beginning again if anyone doesnt know attack on titan i both pity and both envy them at the same time the pain ive went through in this show is suicide worthy but also absolutely perfect and a once in a lifetime experience, up there with the best of the best shows of all time ive cried at emotional finalles and important moments in shows but for attack on titan i dont care what people think of that ending manga or anime attack on titan is the perfect anime manga media everything hajime isayama to WIT mappa hiroyuki kohta yuki kaji marina inoue yui ishikawa and dont let me forget i started anime as a dub only watcher even though i hate seeing bryce papenbrook in any show my boy josh grelle trina nishimura and everyone else who showed up in attack on titan english and japanese we love you all honto ni arigato, daisuki mina

Whats your ranking of the cours/release periods of attack on titan? Mine was: 1. Season 3 2nd cour (episodes 50-59) 2. Season 4 2nd cour (episodes 76-87) 3. Season 1 1st cour (episodes 1-13) 4. Season 2 (episodes 26-37) 5. Season 4 Part 3 - 2nd Special 6. Season 4 Part 3 - 1st Special 7. Season 1 2nd cour (episodes 14-25) 8. Season 4 1st cour (episodes 60-75) 9. Season 3 1st cour (episodes 38-49)

@@Dintsay he means those who dislike the ending without considering the pros of it, or at least consider the rationale. Maybe you fall into that category. P/s: it's okay to not like something btw, especially an ending to a show. It just means that you disagreed with the author's outlook on things, given that the function of a conclusion is to put a final stamp on the message the author is trying to convey. It is impossible for an show riddled with nuance and complexity to satisfy every single person, given that each person has different expectations from one another. Either it sticks the landing for you, or it doesn't.
