Horikoshi is a great storyteller and by far one of the best manga artists ever. The art he and his team manage to push out weekly is insane. I sincerely hope he gets to take a long break after the series ends and i hope that whenever he comes back, he's allowed to work on his own terms. If he's passionate, he can do wonders. Same with studio bones, just look at the difference between S1-3 and S4-6. The passion in these projects are what brings people to them, and when they focus on making the most money off of it, the passion is lost. If the passion is lost, the quality will deteriorate immensely.

Part of that is the fact that he doesnt force himself to do content, he usually sticks to a schedule but does it on his own time. Usually thats a bad thing in terms of retaining an audience but with the type of content he does it makes his reactions feel more genuine and real.

Season five gets flak because of some poor choices to remove some cool things from the manga, and the second half’s lower animation budget. It’s still fine. If you make it through that, season 6 is easily the best in the series, with season 7 likely to surpass it. Another great reaction, Nicholas. This episode is easily a top 10 favourite for me.

My favorite episode of all of BNHA. When Midoriya tells Bakugo: "Is that all you've got?" and Kacchan's expression is priceless. I love the all secuence of that. From this episode Kacchan became in my favorite character. And the VA of Bakugo did a fu*king great job.

Bro I almost screeched in the bus when I saw the notification. My eyes started tearing up mid-way through this video but surprisingly I did not cry, _for once._ This episode is dear to my heart, because as an immediate Bakugo fan, I did not think I would love his character more. And then this episode happened. And then I sobbed happy tears. When Deku said yes he admired All Might but his childhood friend was the one present in his life, it was game over for me. That is beautiful writing right there. I also love how you described Bakugo’s burdens as literal weights that are stuck to him and that he cannot let go of, good metaphor. Daiki Yamashita did a phenomenal job, but Nobuhiko Okamoto? The sheer raw emotions in his voice was heartbreaking.

Bakugo is the character who gets the most development in the series, and is still a great character, even when the manga gets worse at times. Bakugo doesn't stop to grow and entertain, to change through the story, while still being his own anger tempered violent good old self. But he keeps changing in many ways.
