I like to think that this song is about Eren and Mikasa's relationship and how it's changed throughout the seasons. But more specifically I think this song speaks about them in the final season in particular. "She lost her brother a month ago," How Mikasa lost the person Eren used to be, her brother, her family. "His picture on the wall and it reminds me," Eren realising how he's changed as a person. "When she brings me coffee her smile," Eren reminiscing about the small domestic moments with her. "I wish I could be with her till my last day," Eren wanting to be with her even though he knows he has a limited left time to live. "She said she gave all her love to me," Mikasa's vow to protect Eren. "We dreamt a new life, someplace to be at peace" The promise of life outside the walls and freedom from the titans. "But things changed suddenly" The reality that the outside world isnt safe for them and they will never be free from oppression. "I lost my dreams in this disaster" How Eren's childhood hopes have died since finding out the truth. "I'm crying missing my lover" Both of them missing each other and how things used to be. "I don't have the power on my side forever," The curse of Ymir that is slowly killing Eren. "Oh where is my lover?" Mikasa wondering where the person she fell in love with is. "And I got no power." Mikasa having no power to stop the rumbling or the new person Eren has become. "I'm standing alone, no way," Both of them standing alone against the world and no way to escape their fate. "Calling out your name," Each of them wanting to be together. "I said I gave all my love to you," Erens promise to Mikasa. "We dreamt a new house someplace to be at peace," Eren wanting to live a normal and safe life. "But things changed suddenly," The attack on Marley and the rumbling. "I lost my dreams in this disaster," Eren realising there's no going back from what he's done. "We don't know what is wrong tonight," The constant question of who is the real enemy. "Everybody's got no place to hide," The victims of the rumbling. "No one's left and there's no one to go on," There's no one that can seemingly stop Eren and the rumbling. "All I know is my life is gone," Eren giving up his future to give his friends a future.

IMO "The Reluctant Heroes", "Call of Silence" , "Barricades" and "DOA" are my favorites along with this one from Attack On Titan! Hiroyuki Sawano who composited this song also did the afore-mentioned ones as well as the music for AOT´s first 3 seasons of OST´s. I read somewhere that this song is Eren message to Mikasa. In the OVA, Mikasa's mom actually pregnant with her little brother. And the relation with the ending too There's also song specifically made to show Mikasa message to Eren (it's confirmed by the song creator and VA) called No Matter What You Are. First time we see coffee in the show is when Armin finds it on top of the wall at s3 p2 and don't know what it is. So, the sentence "When she brings me coffee, her smile" does not make sense for Levi and Petra. Although, maybe they did not just give a shit about the coffee part lol.

Love this song but the female version "Call Your Name " is so much more heartbreaking cause it makes sense for Historia & Ymir (not to be mistaken with the Founder Ymir). “ The Reluctant Heroes ” is my favourite OST with “ Youseebiggirl ” (but you already reacted to it, it's was awesome). These two are just perfect, they got everything. “ Apple Seed ” was great too ! Apple Seed is a very great OST also created by Hiroyuki Sawano. You can react and analyze the lyrics.But I also think you should react to other AoT OVAs. There's plenty and it was very fun experience. I think you might like those. Just a suggestion.

"Call of Silence" and "Zero Eclipse" are actual heat, and "Apple Seed" is mega underrated if you're looking for more AoT songs to react to. Also, IDK if you've watched the No Regrets OVA bonus episodes, but if you have, "So Ist Es Immer" ("It's Always Like That" in German) is another great one to react to. Also, if you're interested in lyrical analysis, you should try checking out the English covers, particularly AmaLee's and GoldenBoys'; AoT's is the type that you don't necessarily need to understand to feel, but when you do feel it, it hits all over again.

The genius thing about this song is that it is played in the earlier seasons while its content relates to Grisha's story (you can interprete it with other characters as well but Grisha sticks out). You have "We dreamt a new life" Grisha and Dina wanted to change the world by the revolution, finally living in peace. The best part obviously "I am crying, missing my lover, I don't have the power on my side forever" Grisha after he inherited the Attack Titan had only this power for 13 years missing Dina. Ironically Dina found his second wife, Eren's mom... and Grisha always stood alone as he could never tell anyone the truth. And he called out her name when she transformed. That is also the reason for me that AoT is a masterpiece. Due to the connection between score and storytelling
