I personally think it just takes way to damn long to edit an hour long reaction video, so hes giving us every second episode as their edited (while also keeping his other videos on schedule) so we dont have to wait a week to only have gotten to this point. (that might of sounded like sarcasm, but im genuine, if you've ever watch what editing is like, its a damn process of just waiting and watching for hours at a time, and then to make sure your dodging copyright the whole time just sounds like a headache) Its painful to wait, but I prefer not having to wait a month and new viewer wise its more digestible to have them be 30 min parts

I love how this arc is basically the thesis of the whole show; understanding, and it’s through this fight with a sibling student and understanding and forgiving him that Naruto truly understands Sasuke’s situation. He already understands his loneliness, but now he understands his loss, and this is what justifies Naruto’s obsession with saving Sasuke moving on, because they understand each other fully now.

bro i can write a whole academical ahh essay about pain's speech and phylosophy but... You know what, im gonna do it. We can look at pain's phylosophy in different categories. 1- KNOW PAIN -Pain's famous words "know pain" is pretty deep when you look at it. First of all Nagato see's "pain" as the only way to mature and grow up. We see this in his speech with jiraiya. "Mired in endless pain i have matured and become much more than a man" As we see in this phrase from Nagato, Nagato thinks that the more pain you feel, the more mature you become. Thats why he thinks he is doing a good thing to his enemies. He makes them grow by using pain. Lets take a look of needles for example. Most of the time when you get vaccinated they force a bunch of micropes and viruses in to your blood. With this, our body learns how to overcome them and becomes way more resilient to those micropes and viruses. This is the same concept as pain. By consuming that pain, you become more resilient, durable, tough, in short; You grow up. 2- THIS WORLD SHALL KNOW PAIN Akatsuki's/nagato's goal was really different from madara's. Im not gonna spoil anything so i won't mention madara anymore. Nagato thought that by gathering all tailed beasts, they can create a power that can destroy nations within seconds. But why? Why would anyone want that? This idea may look really dumb at first but it can stop all the wars between nations all at once. The idea is that when there is a godlike threat that faces all of us, our fights between us becomes unimportant. When there is a threat that is gonna attack all of humanity, who cares when 2 little nation doesn't get well with eachother? That was the goal of nagato. To create a force so powerful that all of the nations around the world stop their fights with eachother and become one, against the threat. 3- "YOU AND I ARE THE SAME" Lets see things in naruto's eyes. our sensei and our master and our whole village gets destroyed by someone called pain and we are going to kill that mf called pain. Now lets see thing in Pain's eyes. Your family, Your friends, your village gets destroyed and killed by a nation called konoha and they go unpunished. You guys saw what pain did. But what would YOU do??? Would you really let them live their happy lives after what they did? No you wouldn't and naruto didn't either.

Eh, not even close. The fear of nukes did nothing of what Nagato wanted. If anything, it did the opposite (though it isnt the root cause, nor the sole reason). Rather than a grand world war between large nations, this same large nations started fighting through proxy wars from smaller nations (particularly the USA and USRR, though USA continued even after the dissolution of the USRR), essentially causing the exact same pain Nagato's village suffered, except on a larger scale because, rather than being just battlefields, now they also become the ammunation and the soldiers. There has been no peace since then, not even remotely close.

Pain's ideologies are feasible, they are reasonable things to do. Pain isnt contradicting himself when he starts referring to himself as "an ordinary Man" (he's dropping his pretense of beeing a "God" to truly have a heart-to-heart conversation with naruto as fellow disciples because he truly wants Naruto to understand his motives and see things from his perspectives). Actually nagato means That Pain is a god, while him a Man. We as the audience generally or all of Us side with Naruto and the hidden leaf because they're the "main characters" of the story. But Pain is "GIVING VOICE" to others here in the world that also suffer. I totally agree when Pain says "Humans are not the most intelligent creatures", due to the fact that we're essently a virus on the planet because we literatelly destroy other species and the environment of our planet, so That's right, biologically speaking Pain is more than 100% correct. On the other hand, From our perspective (human perspective) Pain is mad because he wants to Destroy nations and people? ( but That's The same thing the Leaf has done and Big countries do today in our real world as well, How Can You possibly deny That? Why is it ONLY Fair And OK for the hidden Leaf to have peace and justice when everybody else in The world also suffer Pain?? Lmao Pain is calling out the hipocrisy Naruto and The Leaf are trying to justify themselves (That part When pain talked to Tsunade, he said "Your peace has Only brought violence upon us all" That's what he means, That they (The Leaf) are hypocrites, which is true indeed. Pain's Idea for achieving peace is MAD (mutually assured destruction), which is the same system thats in place in OUR REAL WORLD today to deter nuclear War. He wants a world where M.A.D will keep the peace for a while and when it breaks, when people use tail beasts, they"ll experience pain again, and That pain will force them to Go back to the period of peace. This will continue over and over, that pain will keep humanities violent Nature in check, allowing peace to exist. You can definitely disagree with Pain's ideias of achieving peace because they're Pretty extreme from our perspective, however with his speech You Just can't, because he's spitting Facts here. Pain's character is a masterpiece completely, he's a character Very grounded in realism. For me he's One of The Best Creations in all fiction honestly, this Arc here is The Most Epic from kishimoto. Everything about Pain's character is so well done. He's so sick dude. He gave The Best Arc to The Entire series, this masterpiece right here.

Now if you think about it Pain's philosophy actually reflects our real world.... Like for example how we are at peace because of the fearsome powers of the atomic bombs....we are at peace because we fear that if ever another world war happens and we use Atom bombs humanity would be finished. But this is not true peace... There are still conflicts of short scale but they do exist and tbh only Love, Understanding, Forgiveness and Maturity can solve all problems without any conflicts..... I thought pain arc was the best but we still have more and more😂 after that "next arc" I decided naruto is my all time favorite anime. Even until this day. Okay naruto isn't perfect but we can't deny naruto is one of the best anime with the best storyline. Masashi kishimoto is a genius❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥

The reason he couldn't use rasenshuriken before was because it destroyed the cells in his hands, which would mess with his chakra flow permanently. However, he can use it without worrying now because, Sage mode uses chakra from his surroundings to power his jutsu.

When it's good, it's so good. This is the arc I remember to this day, and I've not seen it in over a decade. This speech was so good and the way it's written with connections to Naruto is way too good. Even as a teenager, I respected Naruto's reply, that he was humble enough to say he didn't know the answer to that, because it is a too large question. It's like knowing the cure to global hunger, it's too large for one person alone to solve. Man this was goated. I enjoyed seeing ti again. Thanks, Nick. Glad you like it too.
