Love throwing a Buzzbait. Thanks for the tip on going with braid to a short flouro leader. Had previously used straight braid and your comment about it going limp and tangling in the bait is spot on. Will try the leader next time out.

So fun catching them on a buzzbait. That home is so humbling for sure

Nichols Spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and Jigs are so underrated. Brooks does an amazing job with how hands-on he is about his products

Again at the pudd! Geeez man that’s awesome! Haven’t been there since 2020 when all the lakes were pretty much closed because of COVID actually ran into you in line one day

Man ever since 1987 and I had a giant blowup on a buzzbait and straight snap my 17lb mono, the buzzbait has been one of my favorite baits! It just gets bigger bites than almost any other topwater! (Almost 🤫🎣)

Awesome video and take on using the skirt brotha. I actually started using the Buzzbait last year for the 1st time and killed it here (especially with my dbl Buzzbait). Given the newer style baits such as ploppers, I figured I throw them something old school that they probably haven’t seen in awhile. Pudd is definitely humbling. I was told if you can catch fish here, you can catch them anywhere :) Love seeing the home lake, so satisfying 🤙🏾

Awesome video you didn't mentioned about the Buzzbait 2 type reflex other one reflex metal and weight please ?
@SuaSponte752 жыл бұрын
Go with 1/2 oz. Easier Casting. I use all the regular and metal flake blades.
@BigBassDreams2 жыл бұрын
Agreed! 1/2oz is the default weight most times.

Nice, what’s the biggest bass you’ve ever got on topwater?
@OliverNgy2 жыл бұрын
Not big enough brother! Haha

@@OliverNgy Haha me too. I'm assuming best shot at a big topwater fish would be with a big surface glide bait or bluegill

Fairly new to the fishing world. But in the video you said 70lb braided but when I click the link you posted is says 10lb. Is that the correct one?
@BigBassDreams Жыл бұрын
There's a dropdown menu you can click to show the 70lb option
