Actually, some people, myself included, DID ship them already when the series started. The chemistry and enemies-to-lovers-possibility was INSANE! We love-hate shippers just knew from the start and had luck for once because not many shows dare to go there. 🤣 But it was good to see their relationship develop. Although the show really did take its time for them to happen, it was wonderful to witness them building trust in one another and getting an understanding for it all; you are right. 😄

I think they could have easily put in some conflict with the kids from 5x03. 1st of all just want to say how much I love the video, the choice of song, the emojis - brilliant and while I also love the first clip with Renard saying "you turned me down" and Nick's face when he says "she didn't turn me down" to me the Homeschooling clip is the best - the way he looks at her and funnily enough though, after the first time I saw the series, I was over the moon that they ended up together it was only after seeing videos such as this one and watching the series again that I could actually see the chemistry between them right from that first episode but what I wanted to say is how in the comments from people in the many videos about Nadalind nobody seems to have mentioned that people who matter to Nick, Monroe, Rosalee and even Hank have completely accepted their relationship, especially Hank considering what Adalind did to him in the beginning. There's even a scene in the hospital when Adalind's in labour that Bud asks Rosalee in his usual Ice Beaver way, does she think Adalind and Nick will end up together and Rosalee says an emphatic no! The closest discussion is when they're in Germany and Nick tells Monroe he's slept with Adalind, Monroe asks him if he's in love with her and Nick says I dunno yet from that and in later episodes where Nick and Adalind spend time with Monroe and Rosalee and the others you can quite clearly see that they're a couple though not necessarily in love as yet and you'd think there would be at least one scene at some point with Monroe and Rosalee discussing this yet there never was

I know, right! Ever since this copy right nonsense started up years ago, I could never wrap my head around it. There's no financial gain, no one is claiming to own any of the rights to the clips used, or the show itself... It's basically a bunch of free promotion, but they foolin'! They act like television is the only place where people find fandoms to join and support... I'd be willing to bet people find fan videos right here on YT and that's what spurs them to check the fandom out. (At least, that's the way it is for me 97% of the time!) Any-who. Their loss. I also think whoever decided that made a huge mistake. From my experience, I also only watch shows because I saw others making edits or other stuff for it and so that awoke my interest. True. Though, I was actually rooting for Adalind ever since the first episode, to be honest. So the plot twist was even better. :DD Juliette really screwed up. Even if I still think the others weren't exactly showing to welcome whatever Juliette was turning into and, in the end, it all kinda went into the extreme. (Still doesn't excuse Juliette's stupidy not to use her brain and foresee what the Royals would do to Nick's mum.) It's really remarkable how the writing went. The show is so underrated because I truly think it took more risks than many other shows back then.

The scene is so wonderful! I love such humor and I love it how she just normally speaks to Kelly about what happened. Wow, that's extremely fun and just incredible either ways! I must say I absolutely and totally LOVE it!!! Wow, hunnie, it's just magnificent! I mean, all those lines, you included... And the scenes ofc, and them together! It's magic! Like you made me just loving her character much more than I thought I do. And her relationship with Nick, I have no idea, like really, zero, how it has happened, but I think, somehow with this vid, you made me ship them even more, than I did. Idk, maybe it's because I automatically thought, that, like how it's written in basically every single show, that after they made peace, and weren't enemies anymore, let alone a couple, I assumed, (seems, wrongly), that their relationship turned into kinda boring and they were both ooc and such, you know, how it usually works. But you proved me, that this is not the case. Like from the later scenes she seemed perfectly in character, too. 😍 Oh, I really should watch this show! But... I'm afraid and uncertain about a few things, that I don't think, I should ask here, but either ways, I just have way too many problems right now, to just watch a show, I guess. Whatever, this edit is just... Perfect! And I loved the whole "she tried to kill me, ofc, I tried to kill her, too" lol that's just super funny. Tho, have to admit, didn't understand everything, because sometimes it was too fast, and it helped a lot, that you wrote the voiceovers, but sometimes it was still too fast. I just love them way too much. 🤣 Adalind belongs in my eyes to the best written female characters in a fictional show. Her sarcasm always mixed so great with her vulnerability and her want for revenge first. Her child was first part of a plan but as soon as she became a mother, she just turned into such a better person because of it. You know how much I appreciate it when female characters are good mothers, it's very inportant for me. And then it was all about getting Diana back and she also stayed loyal to Nick when he, despite all they did to each other in the past, protected her and their child. She turned more domestic though, but was still very badass and kept being fun. 😄 Saying that her relationship with Nick is complicated would be a nice way to put it. You are right. I fear it's too much to explain it here. 🤣 I must confess when they tried to live and get used to the other they turned a bit less-dynamic. The show is amazing and truly wished it would have gotten more spotlight when it aired. A spin off would be great. I actually prefer it when shows find an ending (when a story is told, I see mostly no reason to expand the universe and get into the danger of ruining characters) but I feel like they could get a lot more into the lore with new characters and I would definitely give it a try. I just really miss the show at the moment. :DD

First of all I know I've already commented on the amazing relationship between these two and this amazing video compilation so I apologise but atm I'm watching the series again for the umpteenth time so of course you tend to notice new things. And a couple of things in connection with their relationship that actually made me feel quite sad. The first one is the fact that Nick doesn't tell Adalind about the stick when he & Monroe get back from Germany which in itself is bad/sad but the scene that really saddens me the most is when Nick's coming out of the tunnel one night and he wakes her up and when she asks him if everything is OK he flat out lies to her and pretends he's getting a drink of water! What I hate about that is they are already lovers at that point yet he's still lying to her! And the second bit that upsets/angers me is when she's with Renard and the way Nick tells everyone she's left him. He makes it sound like she's dumped him for Renard and the 'power' she'll now have from being supported by Black Claw and that's certainly the impression Rosalee seems to have yet nothing could be further from the truth. Nick never tells one single person the message the note leaves just before it disappears where it says "I did it to protect you!" I also wish we could have seen them actually get married instead of just assuming they did bcos of the end scene between a grown-up Diana and Kelly!

In the deleted scenes they have a more in depth convo about the letter. I think the main reason they cut that stuff was to show a huge contrast between Nick and Adalind vs Nick and Juliette. Eve herself said the difference in good or bad choices is the reaction after the choice was made. Adalind made decisions from a place of love and protecting that love when it came to Nick. Nick never doubted her intent and he told Truble as much. Juliette made decisions from a place of fear and losing her normal life. She used Nick's emotions like bullets to hurt him, even before she changed. Until he became "normal" she had no intention of marriage and would try to play on his emotions to get him to come to that decision. That's why the show decided to display everyone doubting Adalinds intent but Nick trusting her reasons

You know when I got into this show I was told around that they would end up together, when I was about halfway through season 3. And the person who told me this seemed really upset that it happened. So I came into this thinking it was just out of nowhere and wouldn't make sense. But as it was happening I really liked these two together. It felt really natural and not really forced at all. And by the end of it I kinda think they have more chemistry then Nick had with Juliette.
