The bullying Charlie went though was a small faction of 6th formers whose popularity meant the whole school called Charlie names. After they were left/ expelled, people moved on and no one cared about it. Issues in school are like that. Eventually, people do move on. So, likely they didn't notice or if they did, no one cared. Or, they just respected Nick enough to not out him to the rest of the school
