Nick had the hackles up when he started this interview but the interviewer came in with a level of understanding of his work and some seriously thought provoking questions, resulting in one of best Cave interviews of the contemporary era. Kudos.

Yes but does he still wear beetleboots or Doc Martens, for me Grinderman is like a pair of UGG boots, it keeps your feet warm. Kev Kearney I think he did a fairly good job.. he brought Mr Cave out to a point where he seemed comfortable speaking about his thought process while putting his songs together. I enjoyed his explanation of Higgs Boson Blues. Yeah, I quite liked this interview.
