Once both of you had these rackets in hand, the style of gameplay changed INTUITIVELY. It slowed down and became much more flat and more slice, it was fun to watch. Milan is a great sport putting up with your shenanigans for our viewing pleasure! thanks to both of you!

Wooden racquet tennis looks like a different sport... in fact, it's kind of reminiscent of pickleball with all the slices and drop shots. TBH it's a little more fun to watch vs. big serve + forehand putaway.

I want to ask Nik something. Do you ever think of increasing your agility, as in accelerating, changing directions, increasing your range of motion and just overall getting to any point all over the court quicker? Seeing how Milan moves and then looking at how you move, one can see that Milan just moves quicker and had more agile. I do understand that there's like a 15 year difference between you guys, even so I think it's totally possible for Nik to get to that level of agility (or close to that level). Don't get me wrong though, I totally think Nik can kick ass left right and center at any physical level at this point, and I wouldn't dare try to underestimate Nik's professionalism at tennis in any way. I love seeing how Nik is such a strong opponent (Milan confirmed that Nik is a strong opponent too) and still make it so look like you're taking it easy! Brilliant 👏🎾❤️

Was this from my suggestion? I think I suggested this in a recent video. lol Every time I've ever tried to use wood rackets, I find it hard to control the ball. The game moves slower too. You have to really concentrate on hitting the ball.

The use of wooden rackets makes the “experience” of tennis look more enjoyable to me. Almost as if, I’m not just out there to compete and beat my opponent, but I’m taking part in a recreational activity that can be as relaxing as it is engaging.

This is exactly the problem with tennis today, the tennis world are hitting shots today that they never would be able to if they used 80's technology, so when I hear how good this person is and that person is today, I laugh, they would not even compete with the likes of Mac, Borg, Connors, Lendl etc from the 80's.

First of all you guys messed up my lunch break. I'm sitting here starving to death but I can't stop watching. At 6.8 years young, I played with wooden rackets and from time to time I ware those suspicious collared t-shirts. Some of my shorts are suspicious too. I can't believe we thought wooden rackets were vogue and we played sometimes on those nasty sounding gross looking clay joints y-all were playing on. Old things never die, they just morph..😦

Woods help you refine your technique. Ppl rely too much on power for every shot with modern rackets... especially those who use 100 sq in or above rackets. I love to hit with woods on occasion! ❤🎾

You should have used the Adidas GTX Pro /Kneissl White Star. Back in the wooden era, tennis balls were smaller and faster. Present tennis balls bounce high as hell, what is a main reason why a lot of "oldies" are still competitive. The company Dunlop is adding carbon powder in their rubber mixture, what makes the ball harder and bounce higher.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many frame shots in my life😂. i’ve heard people tell me that 97 Square inches is not forgiving enough, just wait until you try 65 Square inches 🤣. It can be somewhat of a good learning tool though since you really have to hyper focus on the ball, but at the same time though it can be pretty frustrating to make contact sometimes and it’s very heavy, I use the wooden racket that was over 400g once and I got really bad shoulder pain.Wooden rackets are actually pretty good for Slices and volleys.
