As a German, I can impressively say that Bitsie Tulloch spoke good German 👍🏽 everyone speaks it quite well in the series, even if one or the other word is really mean. but leaving that out is really good 👍🏽 I think I should watch the whole series in English and not just the videos on the account 😂😂

As someone of German descent I hate that he spoke German they are so far back in time that they are not in Germany from they way they are dressed the torches and the defense I’d say not that far off from the Roman area meaning they could have been part of a dozen tribes who would not have spoken anything sounding like modern German expat as a trading language might as well have been speaking Japanese to them

This possibility ties in really well with the story. When Wesen woge A LOT they become more instinctive or less human, as seen in the circus episode. So a world where they’re embracing been woged more than not, would make them feral asf!

I once wished somewhat the same thing about La Femme Nikita with Peta Wilson and Roy Dupuis. I wrote my own script for an episode where everyone had the same dream, but no one knew why. We all could be different, but there is every chance that someone else in the world is doing everything or maybe feeling what we are feeling. Could have taken it further, but yeah. The implies that Wesen species are less compatible than say Domesticated Canines. I would argue that makes it less of a Cannibalism thing and more of a Xenophage thing.
