He almost died in reallity. He almost drowned because dirt got into his mouth and nose.

@@YanetGonzaga81I don't think that was actually George in the coffin when they had them pouring the dirt in it. For that and pulling him out I think might have either been a stunt double or maybe even a life size dummy.

When I watched this episode, I was hyperventilating. I literally felt lightheaded through the entire thing. This was a great episode, but man is this my biggest fear.

George sure did a good scream. There's no way his voice didn't get hoarse after he did that. And most times they have actors come in and dub over the initial sounds too. Nick doesn't say a whole lot in the box and the most dialogue he speaks is when he is recording his goodbye message to everyone but his voice doesn't sound hoarse. Honestly I wonder if they had to save George screaming for the very last thing to preserve his voice for all of his other lines. Like he's miming his screaming onscreen and then he had to come in for post-production and record his scream.

It possible that the scream wasnt dubbed over but was purposely one of the last things recorded to make it authentic as possible. Because in his last scene talking to the girl in the prison at the and his voice is a little hoarse. Which actually adds to him almost in tears talking to her.
