I think the reason Nick didn't choose Demi to sing this song with him on the album was because her voice is very powerful, so powerful that it overpowers and covers up Nick Jonas's vocals. I love both of them but honestly, Demi's voice would take over the song. lol but I love this performance. ❤️

Demi's voice is really powerfull but when she want, she can sing in a soft way too, just like most parts of Fix a Heart and Don't Forget. Sometimes I think that you're right and Demi's voice would take over the song, but I remember Nick and Demi song Avalanche and I guess they really fit together.
