Welcome to EP#58 of @Thefailurepodcast. In this episode we talk with Nick, a paraplegic that doesn't let anything stop him from living life to the fullest. Nick spent 23 years of his life with two working legs, only to have that tragically taken from him. We talk on his last thoughts before blacking out, has he forgave the person who caused this, and how his life has transformed into what it is. We discuss deeply on mental health and how Nick chooses to live life to the fullest! Grab your favorite Backwoods Brewing Company Beer and lets LOCK IN!!

Nick, thank you for sharing your story and the day to day challenges that come with being a paraplegic. From the UTI's to spasms and all that goes into keeping a routine to stay as healthy as possible. My father became a paraplegic at 33 from a car accident, spinal cord severed at T11. I was 5 when it happened, growing up watching him and all he dealt with on the daily both medicly (countless infections) and out in society gives someone a much different perspective on life. I respect you and your approach on life, continue to live it to the fullest. Continue to share your story, there are many people out there who need to hear it. God Bless.

Nick is super strong man for opening up about his experience and traumas! Without making this political, a gun paralyzed him and his grandfather used a gun to commit suicide. Sounds like guns have been central to the tragedies in this man’s life 😢
