This man has some incredible cigars in his portfolio. Gotta say I love those double aged, AND 10th anniversary champagnes, AND the barrel aged line! Almost every single cigar I’ve had from them has been fantastic. The construction, flavor, consistency, etc. are all of a quality you’d expect from ultra premiums of twice the price. Nick Perdomo is the man, and I hope he keeps turning out gold 🤙

My family grew broadleaf in CT in the 90s in East Windsor/Broad Brook. Tobacco at that time was a crop you could grow and if you worked your ass off you could absolutely be profitable. I remember chopping and handing plants, getting screamed at for dragging top leaves, topping and doing sucker control; learning how to drive riggons and hanging everything from the base to the pearl line. Shade was an absolutely different story and much more delicate with a very (strange) to me curing process. I stripped plants when it was 30 degrees out and hated every minute of it. I’m now 33 and I love listening to men like Nick, because once you get sucked into this industry, whether it’s 13 or 33, you obsessively fall in love with it.

He used to not enjoy them until he aged the wrappers himself. His process of how he ages the wrappers takes that tart taste out rounds out the flavors.
