I think because when we were kids these were places of happiness, i dont have what this guy has, but I do have two arcade cabinets and it just puts me in good mood just to turn them on.

Thanks Martha & Nick! I need a pinball living agreement! For the longest time my wife has said pinball is okay in the home but never wanted more than two or three! Well I own four now with a deposit on another that will be in the collection VERY SOON! Problem is we're moving soon (awesome problem to have) but I wanted to use our new basement for pinball only, with a little workshop area attached to that. My wife, obviously wants a space to workout & do laundry. No big deal. She wanted me to keep just two machines and have them in the garage! Then she said four machines if they'd fit in the garage... I wanted the basement and it wasn't looking good. Now we've realized four machines in the garage won't fit and I have managed to get half the basement space for my gameroom. But I should have figured this out before hand especially the number of machines that is the BIGGEST factor. Luckily for the Vermont pinball co-op I can share my machines with other members and have a spot for my games before the move. They are kept in home use condition with the pandemic thats going on and it still allows others to go in on their own to play Avengers prem and JP prem when they can fit it into the schedule. Love the Bad girls definitely an underrated game. I also own pirates and tron...Sheets 2nd, and Elwin are the only two that will get my NIB $ from stern currently but deadpool is the exception! What a great set of rules and shots are great! Wish they would have just kept the orbit ability from prem on pro though!

Thank you for the tour, I think one obscure game that would be a nice addition to your collection would be Fire Escape 1984 (Mech-Tronic Game Inc) fits well in group settings and i believe the game originates from Buffalo.

We'll need a top 10 board games! Maybe in a year or two when we can actually play more. Couple fav's of mine.. Too Many Bones, Kingdom Death Monster, Castle's of Burgundy, War of the Ring, LOTR card game (Arkham card game also). I don't know.. so many. Pins would be Hobbit, LOTR, Deadpool, ATM, World Cup Soccer

Nick. We like board games as well, but kind of turned off at the really complex ones. What would you recommend for 2-3 players where we all love Ticket to Ride?

@@chuckwurt I would suggest Castles of Burgundy. It's cheap plays great with 2. 3 is fine. 4 not so much. I am always down for a game. Blood Rage plays great with 3 not so much 2. It might seem a bit complicated but I usually start with ticket to ride or blood rage for people completely new to board games. Azul, Camel Up, Grand Austria Hotel, NMBR 9, Orleans, Rococo. I really like Nordic map for 2-3 players Ticket to tride. Is there a game you are thinking about?

Huge fan of the Titan mats too. I need to get another one. My dog Sam is always using mine. Haha. Funny about sopranos. When my wife and I first started dating we played the hell out of a local one at a bar. Got me back into pinball and got my wife into it.

That's awesome that you're into board gaming too. And I feel for you, I haven't been able to board game with friends for the past year either. I do have two questions for you about your game room? What do you do for a living and what is your electric bill per month? My jaw dropped when the camera panned over and there was like 10 more machines. I thought it'd just be the three lol

Haha, thanks. I work in higher-ed. I don't make ton of money from that - what you're seeing in that vid is 10 years of collecting. Plus, my girlfriend owns several of those machines and we co-own some. The electric bill from the pinball machines is negligible for two reasons: 1) they are only on when I'm playing them and 2) they really don't draw that much power, especially b/c 90% of the ones in my collection have LEDs. How often do you turn off the machines? Just getting into it and have a Zep pinball and PacMan arcade unit, and I'm not sure if it's better to keep running if it gets less than an hour a days use, or turn off every day. Thanks
