College is not where you come to make money,it's where you learn how make the money work for you..Those stadiums,tv ratings, are there to drive you, inspire you...What happens when most 18-20 year Olds come across money?? They blow it,and they become extremely cocky and lose their drive...you learn how to manage life and money while attending college, and then when you get the big pay day,you are better suited to make the right moves with your money. Many people, will now not make it to the NFL, simply because it'll be extremely hard to keep producing at that high level and then those players will find it unfair that they spent their money and also didn't make the NFL cut (because people don't take responsibility for their own actions much anymore)but if done right, you may be bettrr prepared, because you had money to learn with...but its by extreme technicalities.I mean while those players that didn't make the money, busted their ass those years and now will be NFL caliber players, and thus make the bigger payday and most likely learned how to make their money work for them, rather than work for the money...Im almost sure that this is all in favor of the NFL making more money and not having to pay players as much as they do now...because the money has already started coming in..so the reward will be less and it'll benefit the NFL...Nothing in this world comes to us,unless it is making someone higher up more money or they are gaining something in general.🤷🏻 guess we will see 👀. I could be wrong and I'm not saying I am righ,t but this is my opinion and that does not make it the right answer...but I'd probably bet on myself here.lol

listen to him. it’s a warning. I went from a hater of Nick Saban to have absolute respect for him. he’s telling you, if this is the game you want to play, he can beat you at. people thought the transfer portal would be the end of Bama, that it would destroy his depth. but all it did was make the #1s on your roster ripe for him to take as well (Jameson Williams last year, Burton, Stokes this year). but he’s warning you, that the players that attend your school will only be in it for the money, and it’ll make disjointed rosters and feuding in locker rooms. the guys that actually want to win, are willing to take a little less in college to make more in the NFL are what’s going to keep Saban on top. be careful what you wish for.

@@ReFlectionsYT Hold up, Saban is no altruist for the sake of college football as a whole. He cried in 2012 about the no huddle/hurry up offense being a detriment to the sport hiding behind the fact it was only because it ruined the way HE wanted to play football. Saban regards NIL as a threat to his dynasty now the advantages he had at Alabama are no longer baked-in and in the shadows.

Haha. Good catch! One minute later he’s begging alumns to update their collective models so they can keep up with the Jones’s and A&M’s. So when you put it all together, their way of paying players under the table is outdated and needs to be rebuilt. 😂😂 A serious case of the pot calling the kettle black!

This is college, kids are supposed to be playing for a team while focusing on EDUCATION and now barely legal adults are allowed to choose the biggest bag. It's all really stupid. The team willing to spend the most, WILL WIN. Therefore, it no longer has the appeal that differentiates it from the NFL. Saban’s success developing five-stars compared to the rest of the country is proof. 247Sports examined every draft-eligible 247Sports Composite five-star from 2008 - Saban’s first full recruiting class, which frankly kicked off a new era of recruiting in college football - until the present in an attempt to measure the programs that develop those prospects best. Alabama has signed 41 draft-eligible five-stars since 2008. Those players were picked in the first-round of the NFL Draft at a 48.8% clip. The other 285 five-stars who didn’t sign with Alabama? They were selected in the first-round at an 18.3% rate. But I thought they were all ready. Guess the other programs need better nutrionist

As much as I support it, I'm afraid it will take a toll on ethics and values of players. It'll instill a sense of entitlement, and soon we'll see these great 5 star players never see the field because they just want money and don't want to work and compete. I'm all for players earning their money through high level play on the field that generates revenue, but I'm certainly against giving a high school senior a check just to commit to your school before playing a single snap on your field.
