A Computer Scientist isn't necessarily a programmer. Bitcoin doesn't require that many lines of code, it's not a traditional application, and Nick might not spend his day to day programming, as programmers do.
@adeelzafar32996 ай бұрын
@@mrsalilg "In early years Bitcoin* only had about 3k lines of source code, as described by Greg Maxwell. Currently, the Bitcoin Core source code contains more 100k lines of code which is roughly equivalent to Monero." Even 3k lines of code is quite a lot. And it's not like anything else. Anonymity doesn't exist online. Sure encryption helps to an extent but do people use keyboards? Is there a graphics card being used to display data on a screen? It's best to assume everything you've ever done is recorded and archived. Seashells were likely used as "money" for their calcium carbonate. This alkaline molecule was used in agriculture, architecture and medicine. In my humble opinion, I don't care what money is. I just want to pay for goods and services in a convenient way. It's an argument that's equivalent to believing ASE or Metric is better. They're just units of measure. I believe good genetics in plants and animals is far more valuable then anything else in existence. It's a blend of biological software with hardware. Good genetics is genuinely priceless. At least that's my opinion here and now. I could easily be wrong. Hopefully I learn more wisdom along the path I take through life.
