Followed Nick Warren ever since his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in 1996 - I was 15 years old back then and I now turn 42 this coming Thursday. One of my life goals was to meet him one day, and just thank him for all the amazing memories. Hopefully one day that will come true. I now have 2 daughters - one of which is 14. She loves electronic music, especially that synth based and outside the box sound. She came to me the other day and asked if I’d ever heard of “Nick Warren”? Then showed me GU018…. Such a weird experience as I’ve never pushed my taste on her or shown her any GU. Very proud moment to be having her trying to educate me on music I’d discovered at the same age, that I’d never shown her before. I love that she appreciates the music the same way we all did back then and to this day.

Big fan of Nick Warren's progressive sounds since I started back inn the year 2000. The best Era starting for the electronic music.

Warren has been my favourite DJ since the late 90s. I don't think I've ever heard a bad mix from him. Love the vibes of his sets. Can remember his first global underground he did. Still one of my faves to this day

For those that are huge fans of GU24, might be interested in knowing that in the long box or limited edition, there’s a CD with behind the scene video of the club and a few scenic spots of Iceland. Nick is awesome, his production and mixes heavily influenced my taste in music. I really hope that one day we’ll hear another Way out West album. Very interesting to know that the host is related to Ned Shepard. I remember downloading all these prog house mixes back in the 00s. Thanks again for another great interview.

Well done 👍🏼 Can see your genuine interest & enthusiasm shines through and it makes for a great interview. Let’s be honest these guys have done countless interviews over the years from people simply asking the same questions. Your questions are more interesting & varied & you clearly do your research. Nick Warren is such a down to earth guy 👏🏼Once you’re done with GU it would be cool to see you track down & interview the Renaissance Compilations Dj’s 😃 Keep up the good work mate 👏🏼

Cracking little interview. Love how you talked about some of my favourite artists Ulrich Schnauss and of course Massive Attack. Nick seems really down to earth. Not sure I've ever heard him talking before. Keep up the good work.

Warren is such a great DJ. Saw him live with Cattaneo last year and they had such a wonderful chemistry. No wonder Warren was influenced by Kraftwerk and ofcourse Depeche Mode.

I like the fact when Nick Warren let new talent into his label , coz so many producers making amazing tunes and struggling to get noticed! You can not say same about Lost & Found and other big ones. Always same gang Respect Nick👍
