The thing is that Skip Bayless is actually funny and he played off SAS perfectly. Also he dispensed some very good takes and he backed SAS when he had to give some serious takes. At his core Skip Bayless actually has quite a bit of gravitas as a person. He is a very talented sports journalist when he started off in the 70s to early 2000s. He only got into do the Sport Angertainment thing very late in life and he did it because by then he is old and could not give a shit. Secondly he is fitter than most dudes 1/3 of age and is a super hard worker. Skip has many admirable traits underneath his Sport Angertainment Act. This has always been obvious to me these guys been saying Bron was the best player ever when he got his second ring made absolutely no sense.
