I had no idea it was this hard to get the platinum from this game, I did it naturally when I was a kid. Learning fluid combat was one of the most satisfying things, and the predator challenges are the best designed of the whole Arkham saga, I remember this to be challenging but I never felt frustrated, this game is masterpiece

I made it a point to platinum all the arkham games. The last one i got was the silly gliding forever one. Everything else seemed natural and doable, although playing as non-batman characters in the campaign challenges was occasionally challenging.

yea, it's hard as hell... a few months ago i also wanted to platinum arkham city, the thing is, i've done everything, completed all the story, completed all side missions, i still had a lot of fun, i love that game! but the riddler's revenge is just way too hard for me, i was a pretty good player i would say but those challenges are too much to handle, maybe i could do 'em, but i would lose my sanity and i don't think it's worth it, anyway respect for earning arkham city's platinum trophy bro, i know for a fact that it must've taken a lot of patience to achieve it.

Just did Catwoman DLC today i found the main game to be really easy, but Catwoman DLC was surprisingly tough. Overall am at 53 hours now, scared of how long the other 3 DLCs will take lol

The 440 riddles are really a pain, I had the platinum + 100% on Arkham City a couple months ago and I can assure you that the predator challenges with Catwoman and Nightwing are just insane... Definitely the worse of the worse but the satisfaction is even bigger when you finally make it. :)

I'm proud to say that I have been through the same amount of pain and got that freaking platinum along side with all the DLCs, it was a journey full of anger, smashing items and lots of mental pain, but it was worth it at the end because the feeling of the accomplishment was legendary, same thing happened with Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham Knight, I felt like a hero when I got all of them.

40/51: For anyone trying for the 15 moves in a freeflow trophy, the Wayne Manor combat map (it's in a different page to the other maps) is massively easier to do this in. You can do it almost by accident there. Personally I don't usually platinum games but I did it for all the Arkham games because I like them. Except I play on PC and this video taught me that the hardest trophies don't exist on PS. Basically after doing all the campaigns with Batman you have to also max star all of them with Catwoman.....and Robin. And Nightwing. That was the really hard part because the predator challenges aren't designed for them

I also found that it's better to do the ground pound early on. Get your combo to the point where time slows down and just try to isolate an enemy a little farther off. The problem with waiting until the end to try it is that there's a pretty damn good chance that you'll instantly knock out the last few enemies, instead of them just falling to the floor for a ground takedown. But the ground takedown is definitely the trickiest part, I just found this strategy worked best for me. Was able to get it in just a handful of tries.

It’s crazy cuz Arkham City has a whole different fighting system. Everything has to in the Perfect FreeFlow where you use all of Batman moves in combat. When they did this it made Arkham City a true pain

Arkham asylum is worse. It’s janky combat has aged poorly, then you combine that with the combat challenges and you have a migraine simulator. Actually frustrating to do. Shock and awe (extreme) with the jank is ridiculous. Who the hell thought a timer was a good idea. Most frustrating platinum I’ve done so far

@@cydia1720 Shadow Vigilante Dark Knight Ar challenges only 10,000 people out of 250,000 ever obtained that trophy. Less than 5,000 every got the platinum. Nothing to me im 1 of 65 to platinum Blitz the League 2. Im 1 of 220 people out of i believe 200,000 to platinum madden 13 for ps3 which is a 0.21 of 1% rare platinum.Rarer by number than any games we are talking about.I platinumed Green Hell and Stranded Deep.Green Hell barely 50 people have the plat.Origins was hard and i know hard plats lol

You can't KO smash jammer enemies while their pack is enabled because Batman must take the time to destroy it. What the game is trying to teach you with these two challenges in combination is that you must first REC them to disable the pack in order to maintain speed, otherwise you risk being caught in the lengthy destroy anim with no way to escape In Arkham City and Origins the Batclaw slam is a much more time-consuming move that cannot be consistently used to escape damage. Save it for your openers and finishers to squeeze out a little gadget variety and prioritize Batarangs for distant enemies unless you're confident that the immediate area is safe Before lining up a complex chain takedown, freeze one enemy to ensure he doesn't turn around or walk away and ruin your angle. The freeze blast is incredibly powerful - it never wears off as long as you don't use it again or someone discovers the frozen target and breaks them out, giving you a free and permanent disable at the beginning of your infiltration. Throwing smoke is also useful for creating gaps in sightlines for you to move through What I recommend for ground pounds in this is the Special Combo Freeze Blast. Because it takes so much longer to charge up than Arkham Knight, it's way more powerful and can target up to six enemies at once. Getting a feel for the directionality takes some practice, but you can stop the whole fight once you reach *12. Quickfire explosive gel is another good choice, especially at the beginning of the round when you have time to set up the trap. You can also line up ridiculous multi-ground takedowns with this. When you reach the last enemy the game will give you the benefit of the doubt and prematurely end the round as soon as you floor the last guy, so it's easy to screw yourself out of a ground pound that way. In fact, the vast majority of moves in earlier Arkham games take so long and you can be attacked at such bullshit times that you need some kind of AOE stun or considerable distance in order to have time for them. This is why you *never* play this series in reverse order. I made the mistake, and my reaction was just as bad as yours There's a warning that can help with getting seen from grates, let me double check my info on this one...

You gotta try to go for origins platinum. It has very similar combat to city, but has a few features that can determine whether you have to start a new IATK(1 life mode) or if your save is safe. Plus, it has the best boss fights in the series and is all around a really fun game.

Even though I'm on Xbox 360 getting all achievements is really difficult, especially when most are online related. Batman Arkham asylum and city were difficult. Asylum wasn't that bad because it's just Batman. For city I have to do it with all characters, which include Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing. I have wasted weeks doing this and now I only have 2 achievements left. You inspire me, Nick, to try to get all achievements/trophies. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

If you play it on hard mode , you will get the trophies of completing it on easy mode , normal mode and hard mode so you don’t have to do 3 different play throughs and it saves a lot of time !

With Xbox achievements once DLC is added you no longer have 100% so I have a very strong urge to buy the DLCs for games. Which are usually way harder and way more stressful. It also gets expensive.

Playstation did really make the best versions of the achievements around there. being a steam achievement, as I just finished today the 100% for that game, I had to go through the DLC which means redoing all the campagn and basic challenges with Catwoman / Robin / Nightwing and it was just painfull :') But the fact that you get the platinium for finishing the basic game only make's it way better, I wish we had some kind of trophey that worked the same way ! Congrats on doigt it o/

For perfect free flow 2.0 i started with the ground takedown and went on from there. All you gotta do is knock down the enemy and evade off of another enemy and hit the ground take down it makes it a lot easier
