Most comparison videos just confuse us more into a state of not wanting to buy any. I look up comparisons not to see the tech stuff about it, that's an added bonus. The main reason is to get recommendations and reasons for why and who would want to buy one product over the other. It’s funny how many videos talk about the 120hz refresh, which is something they should for sure, but there’s no way to see the benefits in a KZbin video on a 60hz phone 😏 The only way to see it is either a slow motion video, a 120hz video/screen or just in person. One issue with the 13 series across the board is that the camera focus distance is longer than any iPhone available now. Even my old iPhone 3g can take a better close up shot. The 13 gets blurry once you get closer than about 6" or so inches. My old iPhone 11 was great all the way up to about three inches or so. I have a 13 mini that I really love but I’m exchanging it today for the camera issue. Apple tells me it’s a hardware issue. I went to Best Buy and tested every iPhone 13 model as well as the iPhone 12 and the iPhone SE. the 12 , SE, and the Pro models took great pics all the way up to about three inches but the both the regular 13 and 13 Mini got really blurry once they got closer than 6-7". I use my camera for close up shots for work and I’ve never run into this before going back as far as I can remember.

120Hz and a telephoto camera is really not worth $200+ for most people. If all you do is scroll through apps and play games, go for it. But for practically anything else, it doesn't make a difference on a phone. However 144Hz is amazing on a laptop or monitor where you have more things going on.

With the pro version, the battery life is much more solid. I'm just happier now. It was worth switching from 13 to 13 pro. Somehow I average 6.5 hrs + screen time daily, including Netflix, messages, social media, maps, etc.

I switched from 8 plus to a 13; I like it, but had to get used to the smaller size. I’m just glad they have a less than $1k option. But I think I’m going top of the line next year (after trade in).

I have a dying 11 pro max. My budget is more around the regular 13 and thats also the only thing in stock in stores here. Would it be a downgrade to go from a pro to the regular 13? Or should i just stick it out and wait

Get the regular iPhone 13, but if you are lucky or rich get the iphone 13 pro

I would hardley call The iphone 13 a budget phone, for that matter i would not call any new apple iphone a budget phone. Starting at $799.00
