The display is stunning-ProMotion at 120Hz makes everything so smooth, and the brightness is awesome outdoors. The cameras? Insane, even by today’s standards. Night mode, cinematic video, ProRAW… like, what more do you need? Plus, the battery life is a BEAST, easily lasting all day. This phone is still a top-tier device, no cap.

Easy answer for ANY smartphone for $899 or more, no matter what: Never upgrade within 1-2 years, unless you have that kind of money to burn or your old smartphone is broken. Wait at least 4 years or you don’t get a substantial enough upgrade.

I upgraded begrudgingly. The 14 pro max seemed lense heavy were the 16 pro max seems like equal weighted were it doesn't feel like it wants to flip out of your hand. Otherwise no notable differences the camera button is nice, I think if use it more it will be more appreciated. The 48 camera definitely nicer and seems more stable on the wheel feature. But like I said they created a iphone that had 2 yr life span and to throw salt in the wound 4th gen se will have AI. It would be nice to add s pen and split screen. They don't know how close I came to waiting for s 25 ultra to come out and jumping ship. Great Review of the phones. You might want to run video about joining the ai club with apple. I had the 16 for a couple days and was wondering why siri was the same. Somewhere I seen join the club. Then siri is updated, I asked apple about that and I was told that is for people that don't want AI. I have had problems with the watches recording sleep.Hopefully future updates will fix problems.

My camera broke a year ago on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and it’s getting worse and worse. It worked ok while broken but particles scratched the lenses and all my photos are terrible. Even tho I have three cameras it for some reason only uses the main broken lenses. Even if I zoom in or out it only uses the main lense. I want a new one because I love having a great camera but afraid for the new one to come out in 2025 and being vastly improved and different.

Should I trade in from regular 14 Pro with 87% bh, poor battery life, and scrolling stuttering issues and other bugs from February 2023 to 16 Pro Max or wait for the 17 Pro Max?

@ Ok, same as you too with my 14 pro battery I need to charge it 2-3 times a day. What are you personally gonna do? Upgrade now to the 16 pro max or wait another year for the 17 pro max if so?

@@oren_katz I would straight go upgrade to iphone 20 pro max as it will be the biggest upgrade and potentially a big redesign + save tons of money.
