Great video. I'm a Nottingham lad originally from Clifton although not lived there for many years. My Mum still lives there a few metres from the tram stop which is ideal when I visit as I arrive at the railway station.

Great video 👍 The National Rail line you saw at Hucknall is mostly double track but has sections of single track between Bulwell and Kirkby-in-Ashfield
@YoloMenace001 Жыл бұрын
I think it used to all be double track. When the NET Phase 1 was being constructed, one track was changed for the trams up to Hucknall.

Great video as always Nick! I like the Nottingham trams, they are a interesting variety. I do like ‘which is the next stop’ rather than ‘the next stop is’.

Great video, I visited Nottingham in 2019 and rode on their Trams, but I prefer the ones in Birmingham as they are more exciting

You didn't have to get off at David Lane. There's a stop called Highbury Vale that also allows you to get to Phoenix Park.

I love trams, trams are. Great, I wish more cities in the UK had them. In this country, urban transport other than buses is just so limited except in London, and plenty of places in other countries aren't like this - 29 cities in France have trams with one in Annecy on the way. Not even just really big cities. Places like Orléans, Reims, Brest (don't snigger), Besançon, Valenciennes and Aubagne all have trams and have less than 200,000 people. By contrast, Leeds is the biggest city in Europe with no metro or tram, and Manchester and Birmingham are without a doubt big enough to deserve underground systems

Fare info was much appreciated. From the looks of it Nottingham Trams don't have great TOD but ride quality sounds/looked great. I'd like to see a Tyne and Wear Metro (By someone who can get their names correct, Geoff). A jokey video to Leeds would warm my heart, no Metro and been needing one since it ripped the last one out. Maybe after the bike share scheme happens, might be interesting to try it out and concluding with if it helps the Metro-less transit system.

Had Leeds as a contender for an April fools video, you never know!
@sterlinghartley21652 жыл бұрын
@@NickBadley How I always imagined it would. I mean it perfect, the transit authority is called Metro, named lines, and the city is a running joke anyway.
