Our Malaysian fried ice cream is simple to make. Put a scoop of ice cream in the middle of slice of bread. Then put another slice of bread on top. Press on with glasses (the opening) around where the ice cream are. Deep fry in medium heat till brownish. There you have it, Malaysian fried ice cream❤❤❤

For those playing at home, you don't need to make the icecream (obviously), you can use any pre made icecream you like. Crumb in eggwash and breadcrumbs, then freeze til solid, then crumb once more before frying. Eggwash is fine, in the Japanese restaurant I used to work at we used tempura batter for the wet step in the final fry.

I had Mexican Fried Ice Cream at a Chi Chis restaurant that has gone out of business years ago and it was one the best things I ever ate in my life. Just amazing the taste and texture it had some kind of cinnamon flavor that was out of this world. I don’t know about the Vanilla but it was unreal!

Dude I wish we made the fried ice cream at the mexican restaurant I work at. We literally just roll vanilla ice cream in a ball, roll it in corn flakes, freeze it. Then when it’s ready to order we literally dunk it in the fryer 3 quick times for a total of a second maybe then sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar then do the honey, chocolate, and strawberry and whipped cream. Those egg yokes then covering them would take it to a whole other level.
