He had to throw in that last part about not dropping your sticks. I never would have even thought about that possibility until I saw this video. Now I'm gonna be paranoid every time I play. Thanks, Daniel.

Peart is the kind of drum solos. The R30 solo is one of the greatest of all time imo

I always go into a drum solo with the slow build ie a beat or tom fills.. And let it build like a roller coaster going up the first hill.. THEN SMASH them with some cool shit, as the mental roller coaster goes over the first hill... Dave is right on, the masses don't care for the super technical, they don't even know what technical is.. So yes the more common rolls/fills get the better reaction from the avg person who doesn't play an instrument.

You just HAD to throw in "don't drop your sticks" and now I don't want to play a drum solo anymore, because that's exactly what will happen. Lol

Opinion. Yes! Who gives a fuck? Nobody! Why spread it? Because you want the attention! Shared by most? Not even in the slightest! Liked by a diverse range, actually!

I once found ppl on the net that didn't know where the sun rises and sets.. It was a great day full of laughs.. Much like this comment will be.. Music is subjective, Pal.. And plz before ur dumb reply. Do yourself a favor and look up what subjective means.. It will show u how irrelevant ur comment is.. Feel free to ur opinion but don't speak to this musician of 26 years like u know something..

"how you remind me"? that's all u know? 2 bad, there're way better nickelback songs. u hate chad and the way he looks, and sings? ok.. that's EXACTLY what i love most about the band and millions others love that as well. u think they don't deserve success for whatever reason? well, they make music they love and have it. so? u think they're untalented? u should really go see a solo of daniel..
