People are probably wondering why Gerald was chosen over Arnold, but there's a legitimate reason why. Arnold is a pacifist like Aang. Unlike Aang, Arnold never fights and while he is a skilled martial artist, Arnold often wins by never really fighting. Gerald, while not as violent as Helga, has more battle skill and not as much of a pacifist as Arnold
