I personally don't think that it means that Mr.Krabs is deconfirmed for the game, I think it's a King Dedede situation of him being a part of a Kirby stage when not playing as him, but he's not in the background when playing as him, being replaced with the Bronto Bert

The reef blower actually appeared for the first time in the season 1 short... Reef Blower I think it'd be a Squidville reference if Squidward used it, but since it's SpongeBob, I'm leaning more towards the Reef Blower short

I am sad for Krabs, but Squidward was the one I wanted most and Plankton is unique while a villain too. Just like with Azula, I understand and even i admit I be greedy if I needed him after getting squidward and so many other wishes so far.

Since Jimmy now has an aimable rocket move, I wonder if that means Jenny will have a new projectile. I hope Jimmy uses his shrink ray in this game, since it's one of his most iconic inventions. Also, I think Goddard might be Jimmy's down special, where Jimmy summons Goddard and with a second input of down special, Jimmy tells Goddard to "play dead", that's a move I would've given Jimmy in the first game.
