Oh goodness, this was around when I got cable TV for the first time so I remember a whole lot of this. I binged so many Nick shows I had never seen as a kid so I got to the point where I was pretty much familiar with every single commercial from around here. Thank you so much for uploading this, it was a real treat to remember what it was like to have cable for the first time again. And oh gosh, I never thought I'd hear that Spongebob's New Week song again, heh.

Summer of 2007. I was almost 10 and I had dislocated my collarbone from jumping on the trampoline while it rained outside. While I don’t miss that, I definitely remember this like it was the other day. The fact it’s almost been 16 years honestly haunts me to death. Wish I had a time machine to go back to this time and never leave.

@@CosmicIntelJet True, by 2009 the company really began to lose a lot of it's momentum. In my honest opinion, Nickelodeon has never been in a worse state than they have been in 2018. At this point I've completely stopped caring about the network, Nick has almost no variety anymore except for The Loud House and Spongebob ( Nick At Nite and Nick Jr ) and while I love both shows but those being the only thing's on the network is why I don't watch the channel anymore.

@@yorickmoran4823 It's hard to believe how much Nickelodeon has changed since 2008, it doesn't seem like that long ago but than it does. Except for Spongebob, none of those shows from 10 years ago are even around anymore and 2008 and 2009 were the last full year's of the Networks logo and despite Spongebob becoming more overexposured and the rise of CGI spinoffs, there was still a sense of variety. Nickelodeon really just doesn't have that magic anymore that made up theie network, they instead went corporate, and it feels like they've nearly given up and aren't trying anymore, and as technology and online streaming have evolved they may never recover. Nickelodeon's heydays were in the 90's and 2000's.
