Even though Spongebob continued after this movie, this logo truly made it feel like it was gonna be the magical end to the series.

Well it was supposed to be, Stephen (creator and show runner) left the series after the movie, cause that’s how he wanted it to end. He wanted spongebob to have the 3 seasons and finish with the movie. That’s why the movie feels like an ending but Nick execs forced the show to continue and he left the project.

If I rewatch the series (which I do sometimes cause heck I’m still a kid at heart, and nostalgia) I only watch the first 3 seasons and this movie. AKA how the creator wanted it to be (and when the show was at its best)

@@babarrett1 I still do love the first 3 seasons, even though in my opinion I actually love the next 3 seasons a little more than the first 3, but if this was supposed to the end of SpongeBob, It would’ve gone out with a bang.

I remember when it was around 2015-2016 or 17. And I was around 3-4-5. I remember watching this movie before the new SpongeBob 2015 movie. The fact it was used once and I was a youngster made me want to time travel back into that time. Now I’m 11 and I don’t give up a memory of this amazing nostalgia. Including the fact it was used only ONCE.

Once in a while I'll watch this Intro and everytime I start to tear up and think of those magical times, when I was a little kid just watching TV after elementary school. 2010 was such a nice time for me. No worries, no divorced parents, no scandals, no politics, no good and bad. Just good. And just happyness. I know, not everyones childhood was so "good" and with all its flaws I thank the Lord for mine, but still. Just wanted to share that feeling, I know, someone out there has to share this too. 😢❤

SpongeBob was originally going to end up in this movie but Nickelodeon wanted more money so Nickelodeon continued the series and Stephen Hillenburg had left but in 2015 he returned for the second movie and in 2018 he sadly died.
