Just to clarify Nicki is always a rapper first. She extremely versatile but she not always vulnerable, or being animated/pop, or even a hood New Yorker rapper. She a Rapper who crossover multiple genres with ease with barely no struggles. That’s something The whole holy trinity (Rih,Nic,Bey) have in Common which is why they’re still relevant to the general public due to them being versatile. Bey being 25+ years in the game and still being Iconic with amazing albums, Rihanna steady breaking records 💄, and Nicki a Underground Rapper that during that era went up against Mega Pop Stars (like Katy,Taylor) and breaking records of her own 🦄. People view Riri as Pop, Bey as Rnb, Nicki as Hip Hop and look at the genres they all did in their work. Nicki has charted on multiple Genre charts. She has Done Pop, Ballads, Reggaeton, Latin Pop, K-Pop, Pop Rock, Rnb and Country. However Nicki target audience is Hip Hop fans so while this is a vulnerable side she still talks her shit and spit bars.
