Positano Diaries my favourite vlog on KZbin, thank you Nicki👏🏼! Wonderful tour Alessandro and no doubt you'll agree that the After Eight chocolate are yummy any time of day. I loved hearing the church music and singing in the background - it reminded me so much of various regions in Italy. Whoa, those steps are even more steep than your steps Nicki and Carlo! I truly appreciate your video/vlog and it's a LOVELY break from all the chaos of the election, the global pandemic, crashed economy, racial pain and city violence that is bombarding the news. Watching your video's I just sit back and take a long breath of fresh air... truly Bea-YOU-tiful ❣️xxxooo much love to all of you

It is totally acceptable to eat After Eight mints any time of day... usually after Christmas dinner but far too tasty to have only once a year . Wow! a two tiered church...Nicki can you take us in there one day please? I love all the little nooks and crannies and walk ways, with occasional 'praying places' with lighted candles...Alessandro greeting his sister and maybe niece of nephew was so sweet...This was beautiful and truly off the beaten track... hope Carlos and Holly had a good day too.. thanks for sharing xx

As you get older (late 50's and on) steep stairs are no problem going up, but going down is entirely a different propersition. That's when walking poles and hand rails are gold although not many hand rails on mountain hikes. Gain really beautiful scenery and history right in your front and back yard. Truly lucky.
@NickiPositano4 жыл бұрын
I always wondered about the waking poles.. basically walking sticks hiker style then..
@richardkaz23364 жыл бұрын
@@NickiPositano Yes, the collapsible ski pole style. they are invaluable taking a lot of stress off knees and quads. They also help in reducing the risk of rollong your ankles.

Wow! You sure picked by far the toughest of the lot! We've done it 3 times and won't again. The one we use most goes off the west side of the Chiesa di San Michele Archangelo - the pretty church at the bottom of Torello. It's much easier on old knees and has fantastic views - it also ends up in exactly the same spot above Atrani! The other one, of course, is the gorgeous walk through Scala, Minuta, Pontone and down through the Valle delle Ferriere. Next time we'd like to take both Alessandro and Zia (and you) along! I've never know guides to provide such interesting and in depth information on an area! Thank you!!

Hi Margaret, I'm Carlo, thank you very much, I will tell you according to mother nature the evolution of us living beings, and above all humans we have to compare ourselves with others in all senses, and this is how we "evolved", and we still exist, otherwise we would have become extinct, that said, even if we learn we compare, and improve (but sometimes it can get worse), we don't really care what other people do, how they run their things, or how they do their business , it being understood that we obviously don't like people who behave badly. We do not want to be opportunists, even if we are making money with this, we do not want to be right about this or that, we simply are lucky enough to live in a wonderful area and we want to share it, because it also seems right to us, perhaps towards those who never are. been in this area, or cannot afford to do it, or for those who can no longer do it, to admire, dream, or simply look at such a beautiful corner in the world (like so many other places), so we have to thank you all for watch our videos and give us a lot of satisfaction!

Hi nicki, loved the episode as it brought back memories😊every time I stayed in Amalfi, Positano and Ravello, I would hike, run up and down the ancient, historical steps early in the morning. Thanks and keep uploading your wonderful videos🙏🏼 P.S. Italy is my favorite country to visit in Europe because of its history and to know that people have been living and walking the same streets, roads, steps for thousands of years is so surreal 'Rome is truly the eternal city'
