Politics is very cutthroat, where opponents will look for the slightest miscue on their competition in attempts to bring them down. In the case with Dean, his scream came across as being crass and beneath the decorum of what a presidential candidate is suppose to be. The opponents ganged-up on Dean to push him out of the presidential race, as it removed a competitor for the political party's nomination.

Well things were a little different back then. When the movie came out this was her first big role after saved by the bell. If you watch saved by the bell you can see what I mean about things being a bit different. Saved by the bell was a “wholesome” show and when showgirls came out it was basically soft core. We didn’t have the internet back then. So she was immediately blacklisted and looked down upon. I can remember thinking she was dirty after that and I never even saw the movie.

Simon Cowell comments aren't bad, it's his business. But with Natalia Kills and Willy Moon, just awful. Kills: "As an artist who respects artists' integrity and intellectual property I am disgusted at how much you have copied my husband. From the hair, to the suit, do you not have any value or respect for originality? You're a laughing stock. It's cheesy, it's disgusting. I personally found it absolutely artistically atrocious. I am embarrassed to be sitting here in your presence, even having to dignify you with an answer of my opinion." Copied her husband, what a suit, tie, shirt and gelled back hair. A look that has been done before, I'm thinking like with The Rat Pack. Before the X-Factor, was anyone really aware of them?

It was a bit of a joke when Kills and Moon were appointed to the show as judges. No one here in NZ knew who they were apart from a small sample of teenage girls. I couldn’t believe that they were claiming that as his look like seriously?? That’s been a popular like classic look from before he was even doing it! What other popular and classic fashion trends do they think are “their look”. And even if he did have some original look that he was copying wouldn’t u see that as flattering and shit? Like aw this kid is a fan and looks up to me, but no they compared him to some psycho like what was it wanting to wear his face or something crazy like that. That poor kid was only like 17 or 19 and said that it really effected him mentally I mean he was bullied & humiliated in front of a whole crowd and on tv. I don’t think he knew people were on his side right away until the public backlash, I mean if u watch it u hear people booing but like if I was him I would’ve thought they were agreeing with them and were booing me. Thankfully he did see people disagreed and were angry with them and were on his side but it’s still a lot to handle especially at such a young age.

Or when the star herself kicks a dancer down the stairs?. She trips, falls, dies and most of the other showgirl dancers acted like nothing happened. Maybe sick asses like you like misogyny and violence, I dont. And yet people like you have the nerve to complain about gore sites, when entertaininment like ShowGirls movie is supposed to be "normal". At least gore sites show real life and not some psycho fantasy. The movie was offensive because most people don't think of Showgirls in that manner. Proud of u, Mitchell for seeing what it was. What he said about genetic combining was not necessarily racism. It's just what was done at that time... now, slavery, WAS racism. It's really kinda cool that descendants of that era " forced combining" are reeping rewards of outstanding strength and abilities. What the devil meant for evil the Lord brings around for good.

Music artists have a shelf life that averages 4 to 5 years, so I dont think Brandy's career slide had much to do with the accident. Halle Berry and Vince Neil had careers after accidents that killed people, and Director John Landis went on to have several high profile hit movies after blatantly ignoring film safety laws, resulting in the decaptlitation of two kids and actor, Vic Morrow on a movie set. Brandy's gig was just over because music tastes were changing, and the quality of her songs fell, quite frankly.

I think those involved in the automobile accident deaths would sound a lot more shallow IF THEY DID NOT continue to be affected by the knowledge that they (either by negligent mistake or unavoidable circumstance) caused another's death. Yeah--if it were me, I'd never get over it, never forget it, probably never forgive myself, and would need lots of therapy just to go on afterwards. Unfortunately--accidents do happen, people do die, make poor choices. I can't hold a young woman's faulty (and yes deadly) driving decision in quite the same 'unforgivable' light as something like Sandy Hook, though. These women didn't get in their cars intending to do violence.

Showgirls is a great movie. The storyline was entertaining and the actors weren't cheesy so why did the movie get a bad reputation all those years ago? Why didn't help boost her career? It showcased that she could do more then teen acting on a teen drama. Plus her dancing and gymnastics were so good.

Showgirls.was considered bad because it is rated NC-17. overall it is not a bad movie, actually better than Saturday Night Fever. NC-17 and PG-13 ratings are both death sentences. A great recent example is Morbius. It is actually a great Vampire Film. And it offers a modern feel of early 1950's comic books. But it does not fit with the MARVEL label.

Showgirls was too shocking for audiences at the time, very scandalous, and the way it was marketed didn’t help (gratuitous nudity, homosexuality, drugs and alcohol, etc.). It was simply ahead of its time. Luckily times change, and now it’s considered a cult classic.

Nightmare on Elm Street IV features the Sinead O’Connor song “I Want Your Hands On Me.” I had a couple cassettes by her. She has some good music out there. Her most famous song wasn’t her best song.

What's crazier is how much worse it's gotten. In the '50s you had to marry a 13-year-old. Now you just make a joke or say something you normally say after a few drinks and your career is over. Strange as it sounds, the 1950s was more tolerant than the 2020s.

John Mayer is doing perfectly fine these days. He made a comeback musically and became less of a pop star and more of a successful guitarist playing for The Grateful Dead and releasing bluesier and less mainstream oriented music. His career has recovered he’s just not a pop idol guy anymore.

Here's the thing...some of these instances are reprehensible..however human beings make mistakes so when we fail to see that celebrities are humans and we idolize them we are part of the problem. Forgiveness and Grace extend to everyone. No one becomes better and no one's eyes are opened without it. Fame is NOT a barometer for success. Brandy has the right idea! God Bless!!!!
