I prefer panfish and walleye for my belly, but lake trout are good too. I love the setting on your electrictronics much better than the usual clutter in typical video from most channels. Your editing is great too. Been subbed for years with the Linders. You kick ass and can't wait for both you and the other dude (Larry?) ice fishing fir perch and walleye (see my southern accent?😂 Just kidding 😊. Great lakers on here today! I miss catching rather than fishing 😢😊

Great video. This is the first video for lake trout I have seen that shows you can use the LVS34 transducer with no issues ion 90 feet with clarity. No need to buy the LVS62.
@NickLindner3 күн бұрын
I’ve marked fish at 170 feet in open water with it, so I never understood why it wouldn’t be viable for ice lakers.

Great video Nick, just one question not sure if you have the answer, but do you think the purchase of northland tackle by GSM will impact any future ice jig manufacturing, as far as technique and quality?
@NickLindner5 күн бұрын
I’m guessing they will trim the lineup of some of the less popular baits, but my understanding is they are keeping production in the same facilities, which is a positive sign.

Nothing against northland thumper spoon. But seems allot like the Frostbite dinner bell.

Although I love ice fishing for lake trout for me they are not my favorite or even near the hardest fighting fish under the ice and I've caught so massive Lakers biggest being 44 inches. But nothing and I mean nothing compares to catching a georgian Bay King salmon under the ice
