That's literally the point he was making in the video. He didn't explicitly say it, but it was implied that he tried in apex competitive for 2 years and now it was time to move on to other things. Also, he's not quitting competitive solely because they didn't make it. He just lost passion for the game. that's it, and there's nothing wrong with that. People lose interest in things...Also, why are you offended that he says the apex community is corny? Do you feel targeted? because from his perspective, I think it's fair that he says the apex community is corny. think about it, every since he started playing apex. He's been hated in everything he's done in the game. SINCE DAY 1 OF HIS APEX JOURNEY, he's been the target of hate. So you can be upset that he says the apex community is corny and feel targeted, but you can't deny that the fact that the apex community never really showed him any love. I don't even watch Nickmercs or am a fan of him, but it's so obvious how toxic the apex community is towards him.

Love apex but we’re a small community of dedicated players, the most likes I saw was a girl getting 20k. Everyone else couldn’t even break double digit thousands. Likes aren’t everything but stats show trends. And the fact that the most liked post about it was a measley 20k and no one else got over 10k likes, shows that it reached a more limited community cod drama posts be getting 50-100k likes usually. This was an apex community issue
