"This gun sucks" Well, the mg34 is my main and I have gotten gold on it so here's some tips: 1: This gun is not for the aggressive. It works better defensively 2: It works really well when mounted It also helps to have deployable cover for this. 3: Do NOT use the default mag for this gun. This gun takes forever to reload and having more bullets stops the need to constantly reload 4: Make sure you have close quarters back up. The MG34 isn't the best at close quarters encounters. It's more medium to long range I think that's about it. Edit: 5: All barrels suck for this gun don't use them

If you want to have a good build with this weapon try on this: Muzzle- Compensator (Recoil Control) Underbarrel- Ranger Foregrip (Recoil Control + Aiming Stability) Lazer- Tac Lazer (Aim Down Sight Speed + Aim Walking Steadiness + Aiming Stability) Optic- Your Choice Since this gun has the slowest reload speed out of all the LMG's you can instead of putting a barrel you can put the perk sleight of hand. The barrel on this gun isn't very good it only gives you range at the cost of aim down sight speed, plus the barrel doesn't give you any recoil control which is a must because this gun kicks up a lot. The commando foregrip only controls the horizontal recoil of any gun (recoil stabilization) which this gun doesn't have much of. I higly recommend to play more reserved since you are very slow with gun. Try to pair this gun with a secondary that is light for mobility. Also use the perk Amped because like any other LMG they take forever to takeout or put away.
