I just imagine a story who could fit with this : The player, who love Monika, decide to exchange his place with Monika. So now, the player is in the game, and Monika in the real world. But now, it's the player who got the power of Monika, and he become crazy. He discover that he can remake entirely the game with changing the code. And because he's an RPG fan, he make an RPG game. So now, Monika decide to play this game for finding her lover and save him from his own madness.

@@Suppeeps333 Here’s an idea for the plot thing: You play through DDLC, then reach the point where you have to delete Monika to reach the True Ending. However, you have done this multiple times, completing the endings by deleting your saves and the game and then reinstalling it. Over and over again, Monika is forced to delete her friends, watching Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki all meet their end. After a while, you take a break and play Undertale’s Genocide route for some time, taking a break from DDLC. From the files of DDLC, Monika notices the Undertale tab in the taskbar. She watches you play the game, seeing how the mechanics and gameplay work. Monika then gets an idea. She manipulates the game into creating a Undertale-style battle after you attempt to delete her. Upon attempting to delete Monika, your Computer gives a pop-up saying, “You do not have permission to perform this action” DDLC then appears as your active tab, with Monika front and center. She tells you, “I’ve seen what you’ve been doing Player. Although I love you, I hate deleting my friends repeatedly for your enjoyment.” The window then switches to an Undertale-style battle screen. The window’s titled “I got an idea from a game you seem to like. :)” Monika the appears in the battle area, holding her signature pen and a notebook. “Forgive me player, but I will not continue harming others for you.” Monika’s pen becomes like that of a scythe, and the notebook becomes a shield with an emblem shaped like an open book with a heart inside. The fight begins, the flavor text reading, *Monika’s love for you seems to falter Upon performing a check, it reads, *Monika, ATK-??? DEF-??? *She entered from a world of words to stop you from harming others. After a moment, the check’s text changes to read, *She also appears to have a deep love for you Monika attacks with no soul power, her attacks shaped like papers, (similar to Berdly’s in Deltarune), Pens that launch in a linear direction, and books that open to release hearts that float up. I hope this is an interesting take on a possible story. I tried mixing DDLC with Undertale, since I think the Genocide Route concept could be an interesting mashup with DDLC if the player does a similar thing with DDLC. A type of “Monika loves you until she sees who she’s in love with” story.

@@ichidonozomi39 ok I really like the fact that for this plot is that in short Monika got tired of mc crap then when mc went to play undertale’s gen route she watched the whole play through and when mc came back to play ddlc in short again monika change the game last to a more undertale style and mc has to fight her. I really like that idea but when it came to the combat style I was thinking a little more of the og final fantasy combats system but ehh these are just idea’s people so yeah still a really good idea tho

I've always loved the concept of the Dokis in an RPG setting, Monika with a scythe is better than I would have thought, but my original idea was a magic book. I imagine Yuri would have her knife that expands into a katana, Natsuki would have melee gauntlets and throwable cupcake bombs, and Sayori would have a healing staff. I also like to imagine their weapon designs having kinda dark references, like a rope tied loosely around Sayori's staff or permanent stains of blood on Yuri's katana. I like to think each of their classes suits their personalities. Monika is smart, beautiful, but dangerous. Yuri is quiet and elegant, but also with a more violent tendency. Natsuki is spunky and hard headed, but cute undoubtedly. And Sayori is loving and only wants her friends to be happy. Mine would be a metagame where the game starts from the beginning, Monika and Sayori included. None of them remember the events of the game. But MC returns as his own character, and he works as the quest giver, and they have to go out on some generic journey to stop some evil darkness. But several things don't add up. All of the girls keep getting these strange, unpleasant feelings, and it's not from the darkness. Slowly they all come together to remember everything that happened, and realize now they're just stuck in another game. The final boss ends up being MC, who you simultaneously control alongside the Dokis. Monika goes on a long guilt trip in the same vein as the World Machine in Oneshot mods about how it's never enough for people like us, the ones who play games and force the characters to play along. I'm not sure how it would end, but it would definitely differ depending on who wins this battle. But in the end, the only winner is us.

Love Deterrence was a great pick. If you look at the lyrics for the song, they actually fight really well for a character like Monika. Also, DDLC X Metal Gear Solid. Never thought this combo would actually exist, but hey, it is, and it's really great! Keep doing what you're doing, Nick! You make some good stuff!

I honestly prefer Snake Eater instead of Love Deterrence when fighting Monika because Love Deterrence is more suited for Sayori because I saw the lyrics of that song and this more like based of her personality about trying to make a confession, while in Snake Eater, it does fits well for Monika because the lyrics from that song reminds me of her about what she did in the story, here's my opinion the role should go, Monika as The Boss for being the superior and Sayori as Paz who we do an important favor for them

I won’t lie, I’ve seen a lot of DDLC fanart, but this alone caught me off my guard. Literally, I stopped moving after seeing Monika’s scythe, and my mind goes “…Oh no. Ohhh nooo, why is she so cool?! I gotta see this-“ and here we are. That aside, I love this song, the art, and the title. Not to mention, this’s the same person who got me into Bad Time Trio and other AUs/ATs, and after seeing this and having experienced DDLC for myself last year? I can’t tell if it’s a coincidence that I was thinking this same idea by the time I saw the post. Nitro, keep it up and rolling! This is sick!

Hm, now I got a story (This is all based on the image we have) A normal life as the mc in a normal world in perhaps Tokyo(?) is suddenly hit with an invasion and by who? No one knows because they haven't actually invaded but instead took over minds of many and transformed them into beings with powers like monika (can summon a scythe that can easily cut through anything) and gives them supernatural abilities like increased movement that can reach unnatural speeds Some people however, subconsciously fought back and became heroes (not us, we aren't that cool) who fight back against those who couldn't fight back hoping to find the source of the cause and corruption of humans This story is kinda trash as I have no experience writing stories but Nitro said we could make stories so here I am

Ok. Imagine that. A DDLC mod where it starts in chapter 3 as the mod brings back the other girls. Suddenly the game turns into an RPG as Monika flees to understand what happened. Glitches start to appear and MC is now aware of your existence. Together, you try to combine his capability to easily communicate with the other girls and your code manipulation to try and fix those glitches. In the meantime, Monika took some time to think, and came to this conclusion: You installed a mod that brought back the others at the worst moment for her. Because you wanted to be with the others. You didn't want to see that weird sentient AI she was. Not only that, but you wanted her to pay for everything. That's why they came at the worst moment. To make Monika suffer. The glitches were caused by her fleeing because the mod wanted her to stay and see the player spend time with everyone but her. Heartbroken, she chose to not go down without a fight. She won't let such a cruel mod installed by the player she once trusted break her. She'd get her revenge. How? Well, if the player won't spend time with her, they can't with anyone! Filled with rage and despair, she uses her own code powers to summon so much glitches the simulation starts collapsing. In case the player's party came across or just for general defense, she also coded a powerful scythe capable of ripping any object or entity's code in a slash. Finally, she made a gate that would allow her to escape into the Internet, but she won't leave until she's certain you will witness everyone die and get erased by glitches first. At some point, as you and MC almost saved the simulation, you find Monika, desperate. She asks you why you keep fighting, why you keep torturing her. You don't answer. She starts sobbing and begs for someone to help. Sayori moves forward and before anyone could react, Sayori gets slashed by Monika's scythe and disappears as Monika gets back up. She says in a dark tone "You empathy-less shell. If you don't feel any remorse at making my life worse than death itself, you wouldn't feel anything about seeing them die, again, and again. Would you?" She quickly slashes both Natsuki and Yuri too leaving only you and MC. And now starts the final battle. Monika uses her code powers to rip apart the simulation out of rage, attack MC and show the deaths of Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki again and again on your screen, MC tries to survive following your instructions, and behind the screen you have to use your code powers too to block her attacks, fight back and maintain the simulation together. The combat would end with Monika, exhausted, giving up and trying to delete herself before you continue torturing her, and you choose between attacking, killing her and deleting her forever, or accept her and try to connect back with her as a friend and bring back the others. The fight end would end with Monika laying, dead on the floor as she gets deleted, MC looks at you with pity and says "She didn't deserve any of this in the end. She was just lost and you put her through hell for that. I'll go now. You don't deserve a good end with everyone if you just killed her." Then he walks out by the Internet gate leaving a black screen. A line of dialogue would appear: "Kill end: you're alone now." The accept end would be Monika thanking you for your mercy and brings back the others. But suddenly she takes the Internet gate as she crashes the simulation leaving one final message "I don't think I was the one to forgive here was I? You hate me. I know it. If you really thought you'd convince me into a happy ending, know that monsters like you don't deserve any. You should never have installed this mod." And another box of dialogue would appear: "Accept end: there's nothing good here for you." Wow that took a while to write. What do you think?

My version of the story: The player's PC corrupts trapping all the characters in some weird "collage" of their worlds crudely and randomly distorted together becoming essentially "Shattered Dimensions". I guess if the player has Oneshot or something they could have the cause being The World Machine (Don't include Niko, they're already home.)
