Man you lost weight! So happy for you! It makes a ton of difference! I remember subscribing to you 6 years ago and worried about your health

Good grief, Nickolas! When I found you on KZbin, you were a little kid tent camping in freezing weather. i think on that one, you bailed in the middle of the night, but I was so proud of you then! And today, look at you. Grown, and living the best life! I have a degree in plant science and I don't think I could make a garden look like that. EVERYTHING grows for you!!! Great content. Keep it up.

You can get a seven dust bottle that hooks to your garden hose and spray for bugs. I’ve been doing it for years works great. Ps be sure to only spray when it’s cool out otherwise it will make plants droup

I heard if you plant marigolds around the squashes it keeps the cuke beetles at bay due to marigolds attracting ladybugs

Hey man get some rolls of concrete reinforcing wire or hog wire. Cut three foot segments and roll them into a cage. Use zip ties. I use them for my tomatoes and they support indeterminant heirloom tomatoes that get 8-9 foot tall. Over a season I get about 50 pounds of tomatoes per plant.

It's inspiring to see how far you've come along I'm the past few years I've been a subscriber, hell when you were at the Alamo I didn't realize it was you until a month later when I had time to catch up on KZbin watching and saw the video. You've certainly changed considerably in these busy last 2 years, if you could though leave some ladies for the rest of us

Hair looks good. Retired military so a like a tight haircut. Wow! what a pick! We haven't even been close to that. If cages can't hold them up, impressed. Raspberries are going crazy, but everything else not so much. Impressed Nickolas.

Vine borer’s would always get me in Central Texas. Had like one or two years without them. I basically gave up growing pumpkins/ squash. The plants would be huge, and loaded with half grown fruits. Then all the sudden a swam of borers would kill off all my plants. We normally get two generations of them also because we have a longer season. I tried different tips and tricks. A couple years I’d set out pheromone traps, plant sacrificial plants. Would inspect the vines and pop off hundreds of eggs. Go out early in the morning/evening and swat them with much enjoyment. But in the end it only took like one missed larvae to kill off a plant. Id get some fruits, but not as many as I could have. I’d even dig out the larvae and feed them to my chickens. It just really took the enjoyment out of it. All the work and time down the drain for one bug. And one moth can lay hundreds of eggs. So it’s pointless unless you have hundreds of plants. Id ask myself, how would these insects survive without my garden. Not many people around me garden. What have they been doing the last few years I haven’t had a garden? Well how about they just keep doing that and never come back to my garden. lol. Im hoping it’s been enough time maybe I can get a few crops in next year before they find me again. All also try and keep my plants healthier. I’ve heard that sick plants will call in bad bugs. But I’m not sure. Looking good man. Your harvest looks awesome too.
