Love the the whole scifi-but-underwater setting. Sea-life is pretty alien already. Also brings back good memories of lego-themes like aquanauts.

Whenever I read Hack’s lines while he’s wearing his helmet, I do it with my own David Kaye Megatron impression.

Dude, I'm so glad you've resolved to keep on making Planet Ripple stuff. I admittedly came here for LEGO Rewind back in 2019, but five years later I've come to appreciate your other works. I get how it feels to see your original ideas be ignored by an algorithm (speaking as someone who posts his art to LinkedIn; the algorithm LOVES it when I do fan art but seems to be squeamish about promoting my original work), but I've learned the best response is to simply ignore it and keep posting anyway because you care for your creations, not because you have to "keep up the grind." Also, got Studio Series SS-105 Mirage and the LEGO Knuckles mech. Both are good- Mirage is pretty snazzy for a Studio Series carformer (keep in mind, my last Deluxe Class car from SS was AOE Lockdown from 2018); the Knuckles mech is a lot better than I expected but it sucks that you have to get this set to complete the Master Emerald Shrine releasing later this year.

Yeah.... the most annoying thing is the algorithm doesn't just ignore the latest video it doesn't like. it STOPS promoting your older content as well, bringing your numbers down to almost nothing. It's such an unhealthy system.

So glad to hear you’re going to keep uploading more Ripple stuff. I’m here for both Lego and your own world building. Let’s hope the dumb algorithm changes for the better soon.

I wonder if the algorythm is some kind of self-fulfilling prophecy. That it promotes whatever is popular at the moment (partially caused by the behaviour of the algorythm itself). So a combination of real-world trends and youtube-habits. (I'ts just a theory)

The algorithm can go to hell, keep doing what you wish Nick!

I really hope more people give these videos and this whole series a try, I cannot express how incredible the books/world is. For me, It started with watching the logs, then reading the first book, and then spiraling more and more into this series. I hope this happens to others as it happened to me. Love your work :)

Just rediscovered this channel, I wish people would give these other, non lego related vids, a chance. Glad to see you still making content, keep it up mate!

Man, I remember the reveal of who Hack is. But I also love the funny call back to it later in the series. I should re-read all of the comics.

I love these videos and i'm so grateful you create them. Your planet ripple world and story are amazing and move me greatly. To hear your own thoughts on your own work is inspiring and reveal a depth that constant leaves me speechless. Which is why i don't really leave comments all that much. Cos i'm never sure what to say. Except i'm in awe of your creative mind and intelligence and skill you pair it with. Thank you for doing what you do.

Really love the insight you have with this series and how you highlight moments of the story with personal moments, espically the moments where you talked abour how autism reflected Minnow's characteristics. Feels like you put a lot of thought into the story. Espically love that little personal part at the end. I'm sorry you have to deal with crappy youtube stuff, but I'm sure you'll get by.

4:31omglookithimhesotinyandadorableandsmol-AHEM, anyways don't let the algorithm keep you down, maybe some shorts with Lego history or tip's, maybe even some stop motion skits. Honestly these videos are awesome too, and hopefully something good happens to make KZbin get it's shit together. anyways i wish good days and lot's of hydration for you.

Hi one question for you Nick is it possible to buy your books in physical copies. Since I personally would really enjoy reading physical not digital.

Yes! Like I said, they're available on Amazon. Pirint-on-demand.

Eh.... I only release one book a year, and they're paced sorta like a storyboard or screenplay, a breeze to read. I'll keep uploading these recaps, in any case.
