Nick, I think it's time for investing in plant display furniture/shelves. You have amazing examples of plants that some people can only dream of owning and you can't see them. Also, I would be terrified of my plants being close enough together to touch because if there is a bug outbreak, they could soooo easily spread from plant to plant. I had such an outbreak once and lost many of my favorites to it. Never again .Do not take this suggestion as a criticism: it is meant as sage advice.

@@lapismosi8065 i know it's a year late, but at night plants actually give off CO2 instead of oxygen, but in seriously small amounts. No comparison to sleeping in the same room as another human.

One of the plants that caught my eye the most out of all of them is actually the Cryptanthus Absolute Zero. What a crazy and gorgeous looking plant! I've never seen one like it anywhere, and I don't even think I've seen it in a book either. The green on it combined with the white almost make it look black and white. Otherwise I'm still really looking for Scindapsus Pictus Exotica. I love them so much but haven't found one locally yet.

I live in Houston, cast iron plants are grown in ground under trees and any other shady/dapple sun area. I have cast iron in full sun. They exist there and have multiplied. They do look bad on the tips because of all the sun. I took some and potted them to put on my patio. They are alive and adjusting to their new environment. Experimenting with plants is fun and frustrating 🌵🌱
