Robbie really has improved as a character ever since Rex was seen less frequently. He became more outgoing, mature, stood up for himself and at least not show signs of fear, and the way he confessed to Cat, wrote a song for her and kissed her was just amazing. Robbie is definitely better without Rex. He could do a lot of things without him, he couldn’t do as long as he had him.

@@killermothxd4085 I think Robbie did let him go in Sam And Cat. He had him less as of Season 3, hardly had him at all in Season 4, then got rid of him. Robbie has Rex because he was shy so Rex does the speaking for him. As seasons went on, he became more confident and mature, that’s why he carried him less. As he got more confident, he would only have him when he’s with Sikowitz. But if he doesn’t have him, he doesn’t have Rex at all. Rex really was the embodiment to his unhealthy inner conflicts, often puts Robbie down, makes him feel bad about himself and gives advises that won’t help him, but rather make him look like a laughing stock. Really Rex isn’t healthy for him.
