I played at a high level college and post college pro-am overseas and there is absolutely nothing about kyrie that is natural. What I see with him and a few others like him is heart and crazy work ethic. I will repeat no one gets that complete without putting in their 10k hours plus. Repeat no-one. Incredible video. You put a lot of work into this and it shows. Great job! Pistol Pete, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, Jason Williams - those are my Mount Rushmore for ball handlers. There are a few honorable mentions, but those are my Top 4. I include dribbling and passing when I consider this. I think that nobody had as natural of a feel for the ball as Pete, but I don't think Pete could dance, or "shake-n-bake" like Kyrie does. Jason was the trickiest passer of this group. Steph does everything well. We all have our opinions so I don't expect everyone to agree. As a Spurs fan, I definitely remember the game where Kyrie got 57 points in an overtime playoff game. It was 2015. In fact, that was sort of my introduction to Kyrie. I had heard his name and seen the Uncle Drew videos, but really had not seen him play an NBA game before that. HOLY CRAP! He was unguardable and unstoppable. Excited for Tip Off of Game 1 tonight in the 2024 NBA Finals.

We, as human beings, tend to have more dexterity and control with tasks performed with our hands than with our feet. So, I always consider soccer skills to be more complex and difficult compared to basketball skills. I grew up in a culture where soccer (football) is THE SPORT, and we refer to it as "The Beautiful Game" (O Jogo Bonito). I now live in the US, and Kyrie is the main reason why I consider basketball to be another beautiful game.
