@tootoomcgoo3 күн бұрын
@@ahmadalqadi4480 No one thinks he's aesthetically pleasing to look at. He's a freak. But there are many fans that think being huge, shredded, packing on more muscle per pound of body weight than anyone else, and generally having that freak factor, should be rewarded and even epitomized in the OPEN bodybuilding class. That said, if you bring a bulging gut and disproportionate legs, etc., well then that isn't enough. But yea, he's a mass monster with conditioning. That has historically won Olympias and bodybuilding shows. Are the times changing? Should they? Maybe? But your comment is really dismissive of the history of the sport and the open division in general. This new 'everyone has a vacuum' phase is something that's been here for what, 1-2 years, after not being part of BBing for like 4 decades... Suffice to say, if Nick can somehow train to hit a vacuum and bring his waist in, I see zero reason why he shouldn't be in that first callout. However, I don't know think Nick has the mindset to do this. He's like a broken record, stuck in the same neural grooves over and over and over, and completely unwilling to deal with his obvious biggest issue (the gut...). But look at the video footage Nick shows here @12:40. That was a sick physique Nick brought to the Arnold...

Nick came on to the pro circuit like we haven’t seen in a long time. Had that great rookie year and then seems like he went off the track somewhere. Left Matt then went back to Matt hurt his hamstring then never seemed “right” since. That pulling out of the Olympia was a huge knock to as a professional. Look at Krizo, he knew he wasn’t going to win that show he did before his shoulder surgery but he did it because he’s a professional. Nick has this mindset where he thinks he’s the Top guy. That’s good mindset to have but you have to earn that status and he was on his way to that but now I think he blew that. He basically has to win people over again by actually competing in shows and not just saying what he would have done or is going to do. Just compete.
