@tootoomcgoo
@tootoomcgoo 3 күн бұрын
@@ahmadalqadi4480 No one thinks he's aesthetically pleasing to look at. He's a freak. But there are many fans that think being huge, shredded, packing on more muscle per pound of body weight than anyone else, and generally having that freak factor, should be rewarded and even epitomized in the OPEN bodybuilding class. That said, if you bring a bulging gut and disproportionate legs, etc., well then that isn't enough. But yea, he's a mass monster with conditioning. That has historically won Olympias and bodybuilding shows. Are the times changing? Should they? Maybe? But your comment is really dismissive of the history of the sport and the open division in general. This new 'everyone has a vacuum' phase is something that's been here for what, 1-2 years, after not being part of BBing for like 4 decades... Suffice to say, if Nick can somehow train to hit a vacuum and bring his waist in, I see zero reason why he shouldn't be in that first callout. However, I don't know think Nick has the mindset to do this. He's like a broken record, stuck in the same neural grooves over and over and over, and completely unwilling to deal with his obvious biggest issue (the gut...). But look at the video footage Nick shows here @12:40. That was a sick physique Nick brought to the Arnold...

Nick came on to the pro circuit like we haven’t seen in a long time. Had that great rookie year and then seems like he went off the track somewhere. Left Matt then went back to Matt hurt his hamstring then never seemed “right” since. That pulling out of the Olympia was a huge knock to as a professional. Look at Krizo, he knew he wasn’t going to win that show he did before his shoulder surgery but he did it because he’s a professional. Nick has this mindset where he thinks he’s the Top guy. That’s good mindset to have but you have to earn that status and he was on his way to that but now I think he blew that. He basically has to win people over again by actually competing in shows and not just saying what he would have done or is going to do. Just compete.

Momentum is a real thing in every sport. Nick missed his window and he won't ever be in the convo the same way in which he was. He messed up, we all do and we all deal with the consequences.

Nick should be a smart guy and stop competing, I mean ik I. Can't judge his physice cuz obviously I'm not pro like him and I will never be!! But he did not had a chance to win MR.O in his beginning cuz his physice is oddly weird and not as pleasing as some of the other competitors. He should invest in his health and make money by starting a business related to bb But that's just my opinion tho

Nick just needs to turn up at a show and compete, not about winning just show up in shape. Think he will get a lot of creditability back this way. Just needs to turn up. Wish him all the best.

If he gets 2nd to Samson, then he still needs to do another show. This is only good if he already plans to do another show. Is momentum really a thing? Structure always seemed to be a bigger focus than freak factor at the Arnold.

Nick walker should absolutely do the Arnold! He won't beat Samson, but he's doesn't need to. He just needs to beat Andrew jacked, that's the real question. Because he might not beat Andrew jacked.. Coming 2nd at the Arnold is best case scenario for Nick walker, and definitely a possibility.

Interesting that both Samson and Hadi are late 30's. I feel that these days health is more relevant than it used to be in Pro bodybuilding. We can't rule out some surprise retirements in the next couple of years. Nick may struggle to beat Samson and Hadi, but he's perfectly capable of beating Derek etc. With the coach churn recently things will be difficult to predict for the next few years. (Nick's physique works MUCH better with bigger quads, and that's what he's working on now.)

I completely disagree with momentum. Guys should win because they look good not because they get mentioned in NS&P video. 😅😅😅😅 That why I was so happy when Mike Sommerfield won the Classic Olympia.

Steve Weinberger has said several times, there will NOT be another multi reigning Mr. O again. He's said Phil was the last. Remember Hadi was off, so if he's on or Martin, Derrek, Andrew, Hunter or anyone else is on Samson could lose the title. Too many up and coming pros with better conditioning are rising up, so no more multi reigning Olympia winners, which is honestly better for the sport.

Nick Walker should take the first opportunity to challenge the best bodybuilder on stage if he's serious. That would be a step in the right direction to get back on track.
