A lot of Gen Z and Millennials 🤡 on here. Henderson a pupil of the great Fred Winter, his training of See You Then enough for legend status. A very fragile 🐴 was given the nickname by racing Press in 1980's of See You When. Magical Henderson trained him to win 3 in a row Champion Hurdles 85',86' and 87'. The comments on these racing channels are just noise in general and the opinions totally irrelevant.

From the first time i seen jonbon i loved the horse, hes one of the best looking NH horses you will ever see, he would win a king George absolutely no doubt in my mind, he won a point over 3m i believe we will really see the best of him over 3

nicky had a point about chasing in his country, always need beginners chases every card going into handicap chasing is what you want when your horse can't compete against graded novice company, bumpers are great to and point to points all these things develop a better chaser.

@ I stick by my Cecil of the jumps quote yes ! BM was a particularly good example of that sort of thing. I was brought up in the era when owners weren’t scared to get their horses beat in limited handicaps , Dessie was a great example , I read the owners book about Dessie , 81 times it ran !!.. Same with the great crop of late 70’s and early 80’s hurdlers , Monksfield , Sea Pigeon , Night Nurse , Birds Nest , Dramatist , Gaye Brief , Celtic Ryde , Pollardstown - they appeared with regularity from Oct to April . My thinking is that these days the whole fekkin season is now Cheltenham centric , there are a host of good races and big prize money to be hoovered up pre and post Cheltenham . If it was up to me I’d return Cheltenham to a 3 day festival and stop diluting the championship races with “fake “ opportunities like The Turners and The Mares hurdle and The Fred Winter ..
