For me it was really the colour palette that made the idea compelling, and I'd say it looks pretty well on a lot of the champs, but yeah they didn't too many interesting things, especially in terms of which champs made it in. I am dreaming of an Illaoi skin in a tuxedo. Her abilities would look so sick with the skin theme.

I really did not want the trainer skins because I just did not see it as anything groundbreaking from the heaps of other cutesy skins like dragon trainer and star guardian. I understand the criticisms for this line, but these skins are basically a culmination of all my favorite aesthetics in one, so I fell in love with them almost instantly. To bad I don’t play any of these champions :( This goes especially for Zed, which incorporates Eldritch Horror and that jazzy dance animation. That skin alone has made me want to pick up Zed.

Debonair 2.0 makes me angry over the fact that we didn’t vote for it, every region except China voted for crime city nightmare, and not only did it not get its own event, it didn’t get a prestige skin or a legendary skin. But guess what did, debonair 2.0 even though only China wanted it. And they even put both skin lines on some of the poorest quality champions with old ass animations instead of giving them visual updates.

Usually my problem with these type of modern or stylish skin lines is usually the champs the choose to have and how they end up looking in the end, because having Le Blanc looking hella close to MF really threw me for a loop and the fact when i first saw the Master Yi my mind when for Aphelios first kinda makes me sad because i really love the color pallet overall, specially because i love green. And what's up with them never giving a Yordles a single one of these type of skins? Are they fucking afraid? because Arcane showed us they can work on full clothing with Heimerdinger, so why couldn't we had Tristana with a snake canon and a tuxedo?

i actually really enjoy the high fashion and the diversity they managed to pull off with the fancy clothing. i think it's especially bold to make it so very prominently green. zed is the best one but i honestly think leona deserves an honorable mention here, the shield and sword are super slick

I am a sucker for Tuxedos and suits soooooo I love these skins. Crime City Nightmare was 100% the best of the options, but the only thing I wanted was to not get Monster Trainers. I saw Ezreal. My pure hatred for the champion took over and said no. No vote for Monster Trainer. Also Leona's my main so I think I got the deal I wanted in the end with getting both.

The thing for me is I just wish that riot would add anything new or interesting to prestige skins other than the coat of paint/slightly differ t particle effects. Maybe some new voice lines, different animations, or a new emote. They don’t need to be on the same scale as legendary/ultimate skins. (Although they could be.) given then amount of grind and effort required to acquire said skins. I just want them to feel more substantial.

Bro, I would've been so happy to see a Pokemon version of Nunu and Willump, why did we need more tuxedos and dresses on champs but just colored green this time? People should have known it was going to be pretty bare and/or basic no matter what theme got picked, at least the Monster Tamers/Pokemon idea or whatever it was going to be would have been a possibly new branching out, in terms of the idea and concept overall, and something we haven't really gotten before and definitely haven't gotten a lot of just in general, for some champions that haven't been in that kind of universe before. Like imagine if we had gotten a Pikachu Kog'maw skin and he had a cool pointy electric tail along with some other cool nods and details like that in a skin line. I imagine the Monster Tamers line would have been a skin line for both some monster champions and some human champions too, so it would have been a bit more of a fair chance and mixed bag for just about all players from any of the five lanes of the game to get a skin for a champion they play or might want to pick up, but with this, we literally just got some human champions in green tuxedos and fancy recall animations, and the champion picks themselves for this line only revolved around bot lane and jungle basically.

I think we all just expected some more creativity in the skins. Like, put some characters with identifyable props in there and you got yourself a nice thematic, but Riot chose to include almost exclusively champs that boil down to *human* or *human with sword* . Draven stands out a bit because his axes are unique and identifyable, and Zed stands out because legendary. Leona stands out because woman in suit, and that's that. Brand, Yi and Malz are all just men in suits. Had they included some cooler stereotypes, the skin line could've been awesome. Examples: Gragas as a maffia boss in the debonair universe style, Quinn in a suit with an eldritch horror for a companion, Urgot as another maffia boss type. The skins tell no story, it's just people in suits, and that's a shame because it could've been so much better.

The problem with this skin line is that we in fact DID NOT vote for this, Crime City was the winner but since it didn't won in China they didn't even bother to make a legendary for that skin line, instead they gave it to Debonair that did win in China, I don't know when Riot is going to understand that League IS NOT just China.

I loved the concept art style for this line, it really reminded me of SuperGiant Games. But it really didn't translate well to League, and I'm not sure why. Maybe with a little bit of cell shading to make them pop against the background would've been good? Maybe having the same green / white / silver for the particle effects wasn't the right call, idk. Or maybe the skin designers had nothing to work with so just did their best and got onto other projects

The problem with this skin line is that its such a specific theme. -Everyone looks like they are rich (No offense) -Everyone wears tuxedo -Everyone rocks white and green There is so many things each individual skin from this series shares with each other it simply makes characters hard to identify. I think there's no doubt that these are nice looking skins and athletically pleasing. My problem is when it feels like it takes away or doesn't represent the champ. Like you went over, the only character I could recognize out of the batch was Draven and Leona. The skins just feel like random characters in Fancy clothing with a funky colorway.

If Leona had a better shield, I think this skin for her would be awesome. That suit was beautiful on her. I wish they chose the splash art concept of her in the car tho; that was fire.. but that shield just looks kinda dumb. I thought she was having a Zaunite skin when I first saw it, then remembered Riot doesn't do region-based skins anymore unless plot says otherwise. And yes; Leona did get 3 skins prior, but a good amount of the community don't count esport team skins, as they're not planned to be released.
