in theory maybe, but im not sure it would have been worth it in practice. what else would you even add to that skin? its pretty much perfect and has multiple forms even without the extra price. compare it to aether wing and the quality is similiar or even better. i love the skin and the thought of it being even better is great, but i dont even know how to do that without hurting visual clarity or packing too much into it just to get the price up.

Those were the 3 I grabbed. Sylas and panth missed the mark on ashen skins but Mord and Shen came back and finished on a high note. As a pyke main his will always be my favorite but mord and shen are also very good

@@ThatIdiotPurple Same for me! I loved Pyke so much like never before with that skin and I bought Mordekaiser and Shen as well as they were also insane. Apart from me not playing Pantheon and Sylas, they were sadly so terrible. Even though they're not in my champion roster, it would have been great to see them getting incredible Ashen Knight skins too but theirs were such a miss. When Mordekaiser was revealed I was super happy and loved it on the spot and I think when Shen was revealed, they were basically back on Pyke level. These 3 are the absolute kings of this universe, with Pyke being the absolute top.

I have ranted endlessly about how dirty Riot did Kayle. The Suneater, Betrayer of the Coven, Sister of the Queen, Founder of the Eclipse Knights! We could have gotten her motivations, her reasons, how she feels about her sister and the knights she made. But instead we got Sivir, who’s just a money greedy bounty hunter…again. And it wasn’t even that good of a legendary even to the Sivir mains. The Suneater had so much potential to push the lore and story forward, and that we even had to put for Riot to name her Suneater instead of Solar Eclipse Kayle. Lissandra had the same kind of thing happen with Porcelain and especially Space Groove. She’d also been teased in the lore as the big bad, but then Teemo gets the SpGv legendary instead. The unfortunate pattern of skipping characters set up to be huge important people for other random characters getting the legendary is something I hope Riot fixes going forward. And I’m huffing hopium for voice packs to give the lore we didn’t bet when they were released

I wish we had more skins like True Damage Ekko that fully reworked a character's attacks, movement animations, and voicelines. Riot seems to be focused on wild out-of-this-world aesthetics rather than holistically changing a character's themes but keeping their charm/personality to make them pop out

I enjoy the concepts and splash art for Fiddle more than the actual in-game skin. The 3D model doesnt really deliver anywhere near as well as the other art. It's a great idea but in-game it could have been done better.

I personally prefer the calm and cool design of snow moon rather than the colored splash "mess" of odyssey. Im also not biased because base kayn looks like a rebellious teen who wanted to look cool. Sad that Riot discontinued the Ashen Knight skinline, those were bangers (Ignore Pantheon and Sylas). I only have Ashen Knight Shen, but now I'm considering on getting the Pyke and Mord Ashen skins with the saved up M.E. I have laying around. Sun Eater Kayle was robbed of a legendary skin, idk why Sivir got it. She could've been more of biblically accurate angel than what she already looks like in that skin.

Ashen Pyke for me was a demonstration that Riot CAN make good mythic skins and that not all of them are to be written off. Pantheon and Sylas? Very Disappointing. Morde? Fits well, decently integrated. Shen? OH HELL YES. Crystal Taliyah? Thats kinda neat, and fits her well. Ashe? Ugh another bland ashe skin. I don't think Crystal motif was great overall. BUT the pure existence of Pyke shows that there is a chance for absolute bangers for mytics skins that makes you want to keep your essence, especially since we dont know what's the next theme. Currently Ashen Guardian Shen is the only non random skinshard i bought from the mythic shop and is why i now hoard essence. Because Pyke could rotate back or a new banger could drop.

I feel like I'm crazy but I just don't see what's so amazing about Ashen Knight Pyke, man. Sure, cool VFX, cool sounds but the concept? It feels kinda generic dark fantasy with a hip™ twist, y'know?
