He was the one who had talked to Hestia when no one did, he was the one who lost everyone at such a young age, he was the one who played the background hero and gave Percy the idea to bathe in the river Styx, he was the one who convinced his dad, the scariest god of all, to fight when Kronos rose to power, he was the one who went to both Camp Jupiter and Half-Blood and still kept it a secret, he was the one who went to look for the doors of death alone, he was the one who got thrown into Tartarus and made it out alive without any help whatsoever, he was the one who was trapped inside a figgin jar for days, living on only pomegranate seeds, he was the one who helped the seven reach the house of hades and he was the one who helped restore the Athena Parthenos, almost killing himself in the process. Nico di Angelo was, is and will always be the bravest character in the Rick Riordan universe in my opinion. Always.
