I was there, and caught it on camera. I lost it when he hit the field! He looked great, and his first time playing QB He got us a touchdown! Can't wait to see him next year. It was my first time back in the stadium in 24 years, it was my son's first live football game, and Nico's first touchdown! GO VOLS!!!!!

That was great! I hope someday to see my first Tennessee game live. I’ve watched them taped or live for close to 60 years on tv. I get so excited and can’t hardly sleep the night before! If I was going to a live one I bet I wouldn’t sleep for a week!

His pocket awareness and his ability to extend plays is what’s going to make him special. Skills like that can cover up some shortcomings in the O Line
@AdamFowler-qt7fz6 ай бұрын
Exactly one of the biggest things we lacked with Joe Milton , Nico is a mahomes, Bryce young type qb who can extend plays

to be fair some of the receivers were used to Milton and weren't expecting passes to be on the money and a catchable pace

I saw two dropped balls and one bad throw. So he should’ve had two more completions. I know it was just U Conn and they’re struggling, but he made playing look so smooth and easy. Effortless for him.
@blakehartsfield84237 ай бұрын
One bad throw was on purpose out to Thornton. It was actually a super smart play. He saw the defending creeping and pushing up and realized an incompletion is better than a INT. Heads up play IMO.

Missing a receiver standing still is not good Milton can do that all day long. He can run but what was that that tackled him a ghost? That was lame. He should've had a TD. He looks young and green. Might take him a couple of years or more. He can hit players on the run is good. He got potential. He needs to use his long arms to stiff arm. Quick strong strong stiff arm.
