Well, he grew up in Monaco, his mother tongue must be French although he grew up in foreign schools as well. He's much more fluent in French rather than English, he learned German through his mum, so I'd say he's Monegasque.

Bibo Thor Which makes sense, since he's from Monaco... This is also one of the reasons that he's not that popular in Germany. He might have spend two weeks in a row in Germany at most in his live.

SipanHamed Which isn't that special. F.e. My parents are Chinese/Indian, I live in the Netherlands and I lived in South Africa and Japan. I never really learned a language, but I speak Dutch, English, Hindi, Cantonese, Afrikaans and Japanese. I like to believe I speak Mandarin as well (even though most native speakers would laugh at me). I never consciously learned a language, it just came to me by living there. Rosberg's moved around a lot. He's been a true global citizen, so probably never really took the time to learn it. He was just there and it came to him. Same way how so many western-Europeans speak English simply by watching English spoken TV.
